Know Your Cracks! Hairline Cracks Hairline cracks in concrete can seem insignificant at first, but their impact can deepen over time. These fine cracks often occur during the curing process and can extend deep into the slab. As water penetrates these cracks and freezes during colder months, it expands, causing the cracks to worsen with each freeze-thaw cycle. Properly sealing these cracks is important to prevent further damage, especially from freeze-thaw cycles. 031 701 1727 https://lnkd.in/eqcKb7v #Cretemix #ConcreteTips #HairlineCracks #FreezeThawCycle #ConstructionTips
