In my opinion, every wedding should have giant balls for people to get inside. By 2029 it could be the norm at most weddings the same way a cake or a first dance is. Or socks that say 'groom' on the side. #giantweddingballs #documentaryweddingphotography #photojournalism #engaged #weddingplanning

The Toasts are a feature at most Wedding Receptions. But did you know there are actual guidelines? I photograph many weddings, so hold onto your seats. The biggest guideline is to keep it classy, short and sweet. It is not the time for inside jokes or off color stories from the past. Above all, the Toast is to wish the couple much happiness and congratulate them. The Wedding Toast is NOT the time to roast them, however tempting that may be. It should also NOT be about the person giving the Toast. Follow these simple guidelines and you will be good! #weddingphotographers #weddingphotos #saratogaweddings #saratogaphotographers #professionalphotographers

WEDDING TIP: if you know your crowd rally wants to dance the night away...consider cutting your wedding cake immediately after dinner, but before your First Dance. This will eliminate the need to stop the party and clear the dance floor in the middle of the event. In addition, this will also present another opportunity for you to thank the guests for coming or have 1 or 2 more additional toasts while everyone is seated. The cake can now be served as dessert with the coffee and the photographer can capture these moments and segue right into the First Dance. You've now eliminated what usually amounts to a 20-30 minute break and maximized your time to dance and interact with your guests. #djsandmcs #weddingdjs #sanfranciscoweddings #weddingtips
