This McKinsey report does a good job of highlighting the need for AMCs to improve clinical operations—"for example, decreasing length of stay, increasing operating-room utilization, improving patient engagement and experience, and boosting physician productivity—and revenue yield management". We all know an OR minute is the most expensive minute in a hospital but the benefits extend through PACU to the floor making the entire workflow more visible and streamlined. The end result is more than financial. Patients are more satisfied as the surgical process is easier with less wait time for surgery, fewer cancellations, less time in the hospital, smoother discharges, etc. Every AMC should be considering the Qventus perioperative solution because it does all these things in spades.
