As July 4 approaches, my thoughts turn to those brave and patriotic Americans who defended our freedoms. One of Family Legacy Video's (https://lnkd.in/e8FJSfE) early legacy video clients was one of those Americans - a B-17 pilot flying perilous bombing runs out of England. Here's a brief excerpt from his story. #familylegacyvideo #familylegacy #familywealth #estatemanagement #lifestories #campdenwealth #campdenfamilyconnect #digitalstorytelling #familygovernance

United States Marine Corps Veteran 2024 AFI USMC Spouse of the Year CEO Leave No Paws Behind USA CEO The Little Medina Foundation Podcast Host: Latina She Served Writer
As the CEO of Leave No Paws Behind USA, I've been in talks with BARK Air. I explained the situation military families face and they are floored with compassion on what we go through. We are at the very very early grassroot stages of a potential partnership. Here is where you come into play. Things to note, human Passengers have to be 18 and up so this is not meant to be a child friendly flight, it's truly all about the dogs. Cost, it's pricey, which is why we are in talks about a potential discount and or a discounted military flight. Dogs only. Here is where I need your input before my next meeting. 🐾 Most needed routes! (My first thought is East Coast to West Coast and vice versa if you need to get pets on a ROTATOR/AMC/Patriot flight) 🐾 Time frame. This one is a bit challenging as PCS happens year round. However, my first thought is summer months to avoid the heat embargo for pets. Regardless, I want alllll input.

This is one of the most powerful programmes I have watched that captures the impact of the Troubles - then and now - on the families of those who served the Crown and security forces. Those who lived life under constant threat of the bomb and the gun. We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to those who served on the streets, on the sea and in the shadows - and in the air. https://lnkd.in/dxfvAkRK

First, KJP has not answered the question posed! Second, it’s a good question that needs a detailed explanation! Why is Hunter in meetings, traveling on Air Force One, and involved in running America? Third, with Hunter known to be in these meetings, who else from the “family” is there as well? Why? Where is FLOTUS in this as well? https://lnkd.in/gJzmxXTx

To many irons in the fire. Does your life ever feel like there are to many irons in the fire? Often times when I feel like life is overwhelming and crazy it's because there are too many irons in the fire. Many times when it feels there are to many irons in the fire that I need to stop, take a look at everything and prioritize what needs done first so I can feel less overwhelmed. Usually that means making a list with the most important things first and sometimes that even means having my husband do or help with some of the things. What do you do when it seems like there are to many irons in the fire? #prioritize #irons #fire #important #list

Experienced Project and Operations Leader, proven within the industries of tiltrotor aviation, foreign diplomacy, and intelligence.
With nearly 20 years of my life dedicated to this aircraft, this article is the best summary of the range of highs and lows experienced in the journey.
“Death comes for all of us, and we are often unprepared. That doesn’t mean we should live our lives in fear of it and not take risks. Being a Marine is a risk. Being a pilot of any aircraft is a risk,” writes Patricia Linck-Mceaney for The War Horse. https://lnkd.in/e_p4weRt #osprey #aviation #usmc #marines #marinecorps #mishap #warhorse #weeklyreflection #pilot #essay #reflection #warhorsewednesday

A great discussion on the realities of political economy, military industrial complex, systems management and innovation processes; and wartime and post-war rebuilding programs in the societal social/military realms. Listen to what he is saying with this lens/context in mind and ask how the concepts are applied and similar to real world/real life settings......aka non-animated/non-Star Wars. 😉 #politicaleconomy #geopolitics #militaryindustrialcomplex ##systemsmanagement #businessinnovation #publicsector #economy #economicdevelopment #warplanning #peacebuilding #newstrategicreality #geopolticalrisk #humancapital #humancapitalmanagement #humancapitaldevelopment

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We pause to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the countless others forever impacted by this day.On that fateful morning, four coordinated terrorist attacks targeted key symbols of American strength and resilience: The World Trade Center in New York City: Two planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were hijacked and crashed into the Twin Towers, forever altering the iconic skyline and claiming thousands of lives. The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia: American Airlines Flight 77 struck the western side of the Pentagon, a symbol of the nation's defense, killing 125 individuals inside the building along with the 59 passengers and crew aboard the plane. Shanksville, Pennsylvania: United Airlines Flight 93 was hijacked with the intention of hitting another target in Washington, D.C. However, the brave passengers and crew fought back, leading to the plane's crash in a field, sacrificing their lives to prevent further devastation. We remember not only the lives lost in these locations but also the extraordinary bravery of the first responders, the passengers who fought back, and all who showed incredible courage and selflessness that day. Today, we reflect on the unity that followed this unspeakable tragedy. We came together as a nation, supporting one another, demonstrating resilience, and rebuilding from the ashes. Let us honor the memory of those who were lost, while continuing to uphold the values of hope, compassion, and unity in the face of adversity. #NeverForget #September11 #Unity #Resilience #Honor
