Today, we honor the victims of 9/11 and their families. On that day, during one of the darkest moments in our history, we also saw the best of America – in the selfless sacrifices of first responders, our armed forces, healthcare workers, and more. We will #NeverForget those we lost, and the courage and bravery shown by so many on 9/11 and in the years since.

Why you should be the one to intervene. "All right, can you be held responsible for being a bystander in a situation you could have intervened? And with the US military, is it possible you could be held literally court-wise, judicial-wise, responsible for the situation, yes or no? Yes. Absolutely. Let me give you an example. Let's just say a Marine gets charged with sexual assault and everybody gets locked down for six months. By the way, does that stuff happen? Yes. All right, so in that line of work, were they usually out alone? No, they weren't. Were they usually with a group of other Marines? Yes. How many did it take to have stopped that whole thing from happening? One. And people go, why are we all being locked down? Because the one made a bad mistake. That's not why we're being locked down. It's because the other 20 didn't stop the one. Honestly, that's usually what the case is. All right, so that's what we want to be. The one who intervenes because here's the great answer. And I will never get this answer until after I've said it out loud in the room, but what I'm about to share with you can use the rest of your life. Earlier today, Mayor Donna Deegan, Council President Ron Salem, and Councilman Rory Diamond signed the Jacksonville Heroes Act - A first of its kind legislation that will ensure our 40 active-duty city employees are better compensated while they are deployed. This will triple the amount of time the city will pay employees who are called for duty overseas from 30 to 90 days. It will also create eight-hours of “flex time” a month for spouses of these deployed service members to help take care of their families while they are deployed. "Jacksonville is a proud military town where one in four of us are connected to a military service member or veteran," said Mayor Deegan. "We take our commitment to them seriously, and the Jacksonville Heroes Act is another big step we are taking to live up to that responsibility." The Jacksonville Heroes Act covers employees with the City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, JEA and the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department.

I expected the oath and duty of the USMC flag officers and DoD Austin to be honored. Actually you are derelict of both. Only the armed forces have the resources to stop it yet it was allowed placing Legal Americans in harm's way including assault, rape and death of over 300,000 of my beloved Americans (Proven). Here Austin is the mission statement (propaganda?) from the DoD website.. "DoD: August 24, 2023 - The Department of Defense is America's largest government agency. Our mission is to provide the military forces needed to deter war and ensure our nation's security" Another note fellas.
