🤔SHOULD WE BE TALKING ABOUT THE TOPIC OF SUICIDIE TO AND AROUND YOUNG PEOPLE?🤔 So how can we help to support young people to choose life, to choose to stay safe? It is likely the reason there are so few airline crashes (relative to the number that fly in the skies) is due to the number of safety checks, installation of safety measures and education in how to read warning signs. Surely this is what we also need to significantly improve in relation to the topic of suicide prevention – for all ages. If we can recognise that someone is vulnerable to suicide (perhaps due to the overwhelm of current life events and challenges they are facing) and then engage directly with them in a conversation that does not overly sensitize – but gives them permission to talk openly about their thoughts without fear of guilt or upsetting someone – perhaps this would be a significant step forward? #TheLearn2Group #FirstAidTraining #Brandon #FirstAidCourse #SuicidePrevention

Having the skills to offer aid empowers bystanders to act swiftly and effectively in critical moments, potentially saving lives. 🩸  Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences, making bleeding  the most common cause of preventable death in trauma. 🩸  Bleeding can quickly become life-threatening.
