Trent, our summer intern for 2024, recently had a sit-down with our team for a fun Q&A session before he heads back to school. As he’s right in between his junior and senior years, Trent has been diving deep into various aspects of our company this summer. From getting hands-on experience in the shop to exploring sales, parts, shipping, field service and all three of our locations, Trent has truly immersed himself in the #JennerNation family. We’ve absolutely enjoyed having him on board this summer! ❓Q: What valuable insights did you gain from your internship? ❗A: I learned about the importance of a strong work ethic, as well as how this company maximizes profits and operates with efficiency. ❓Q: How would you describe our company culture? ❗A: Very unique. Everyone is very friendly. I feel that the many company events that happen help people build good friendships and make working here an enjoyable experience. ❓Q: How would you describe Jenner Ag as a place to work? ❗A: It’s a fantastic place to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of a company and build a career, not just find a job. ❓Q: What was the best part of your intern experience? ❗A: The best part of my internship experience was getting to work with a real company for the first time. Coming from a background of working on my family’s farm, this was a change for me. I just reached the six-month mark of my Marketing & Writing Internship with GreenStone, and here are some of my key takeaways so far. (Featuring the fan favorite office plant) 😊 - In office collaboration goes so far. I love the hybrid work environment, don't get me wrong, but being able to walk over to my teammates desk and ask questions or walk through a project has been crucial to my growth in my internship. - Being proactive with the workload. I find so much value in offering my help to my teammates, and I've gotten the chance to be heavily involved in projects that I might not have otherwise had the opportunity if I didn't ask or learn more about it. Along that note, being able to say no to projects when you don't have the capacity and finding the best workload balance. - Job shadowing is the easiest way to learn more about company functions and get to know your coworkers. I've found so much value in job shadowing not only my teammates, but multiple people across different departments. It's been a great six months in this position, I cannot wait to continue learning as the rest of summer progresses!

On 11th September 2024, I successfully completed my summer internship with #BrittainHadley. I would like to extend a special thanks to the incredible team at #BrittainHadley for their continuous support and guidance throughout the internship. During this time, I had the privilege of working on a variety of projects that allowed me to develop invaluable skills such as #problemsolving, #criticalthinking, #attentiontodetail, and #communicationskills. One of the most notable projects I contributed to involved replacing combustible cladding with non-combustible cladding on a seven-story building, and another project was carrying out repairs to a listed building, which I worked on from start to finish. I also carried out multiple site inspections across different locations to ensure that each project was progressing smoothly and met high standards. Writing detailed site reports was a key part of my role, allowing me to further develop strong communication and technical writing skills. Throughout my time at #BrittainHadley, I gained #projectmanagement, #teamwork, #communication and #siteinspection experience, enhancing my understanding of the construction process from inception to completion.
