The latest Clean Fuels & Hydrogen market highlights from the EIC Scaling Club are here! Ready to dive in? According to the report, by 2030, the EU aims to reach a share of 42% of green hydrogen used in the industry. Thus, a ramp-up of hydrogen tech to produce 10M tons of domestic renewable hydrogen, in line with RePowerEU, is required. As a result, the industry is currently challenged by the need to scale up the production of clean fuels and hydrogen using sustainable resources and build infrastructure to store and deliver alternative fuels. Here are some of the report’s findings: ⚪ 12 companies in the Clean Fuels & Hydrogen sector have altogether raised €500.78M ⚪ There are 76 active investors and backing companies who have provided funding to these scale-ups ⚪ The average amount raised by a company is €41.73M ⚪ The largest funding amount (146M) has been raised by INERATEC , followed by Elcogen (103M), Battolyser Systems (70M), and Hydrogenious LOHC (70M). Thanks for sharing this Sahil Kumar This is possible with Ruthenium-doped Titanium as catalysts and exposing it to the Sun generates hydrogen and oxygen. It is called photo-electrolysis; The only problem is, that it is expensive technology for now.
