📣 Public Notice 📣 for the Glenwood Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project in Preble County, Ohio, Environmental Infrastructure project, Environmental Assessment The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District has completed a draft Environmental Assessment (EA), which includes construction of an extended aeriation wastewater treatment plant, a gravity sewer system, construction of an access road on the wastewater treatment plant property and two pump stations. The Environmental Infrastructure is a Section 594, Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) 1999 (Public Law 106-53, 113 STAT 381), as amended. The district has determined that implementing the recommended plan would not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment within the meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required. 📃 The draft report can be viewed at: https://lnkd.in/e5-5HUwc USACE Louisville District welcomes public feedback. To request a paper copy of the EA or to submit comments, please contact lrl-pao@usace.army.mil. Comments regarding the EA are due by 📅 Feb. 21, 2024, and will assist in the agency’s evaluation of the project and will be reflected in the project record. #LouisvilleUSACE #PublicNotice #EnvironmentalAssessment

We are seeking public feedback on the draft Specified Enactment Direction: Pipeline Conservation and Reclamation Approvals Under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act; Requirements and Guidance for Applications and Postconstruction Reclamation Assessment Reports. 📃 The Specified Enactment Direction has two main purposes: 1. It establishes detailed information requirements for pipeline applications, ensuring consistent and technically complete applications. 2. It defines expectations for postconstruction reclamation assessment (PCRA) reports. PCRAs are vital for restoring the land disturbed during pipeline construction to a productive and environmentally stable state. Your input is valuable in ensuring responsible pipeline development that minimizes environmental impact. 🔎 Read the bulletin to learn more and find out how to provide your feedback. https://bit.ly/3VwZ35f
