Super insightful experience to moderate the panel “Artificial intelligence and other challenges affecting the business of law firms throughout Latin America”during the International Bar Association Conference in Miami. When we were preparing this panel together with Francisco J. Roggero our main goal was to approach it from a holistic point of view. We wanted to learn from curiosity, trying to avoid some biases that typically arise when dealing with new technologies and generative AI challenges. Our current shared dilemma: how to embrace new technologies but at the same time, how to overcome some challenges that its deployment poses: confidentiality, quality, hallucinations, disclosure rules to clients, associate new trainings and particularly, how to navigate the difficult path of decision making within a Firm. That´s why we were delighted to be surrounded by a very diverse group of panelists, each of them with a different background, experience, position and perspective, who enlightened and helped us to better understand our challenging times. Big thanks to Carlos Amunátegui Perelló Laura Barrios González Yosbel Ibarra and Pablo Lombeida!!
