Inpatient Vs Outpatient services “Inpatient” refers to medical treatment where the patient is admitted to a hospital or facility for at least one night. It typically involves more intensive care, monitoring, and treatment for serious conditions or surgeries. “Outpatient” refers to medical care where the patient does not stay overnight. They visit a clinic, hospital, or doctor's office for diagnosis, treatment, or minor procedures, then leave the same day. #AIACambodia #inpatient #outpatient #insurance

Ever wondered how quickly you need to complete your documentation after an outpatient therapy visit? Is it by the end of the business day, within 24 hours, or can it wait a week? The answer depends on your insurance, state regulations, and workplace policies. While there's no one-size-fits-all rule, I advise completing documentation by the end of the day or the next day at the latest. The longer you wait, the fuzzier your memory becomes, which can be problematic if you're ever questioned in court. Imagine being asked to recall specific details from weeks ago—you'd struggle to remember, undermining your credibility. So, aim to finish your documentation promptly, adhering to any specific policies that apply.
