This year's theme for International Women’s Day, #InspireInclusion, aims to raise awareness about the different types of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination that affect women. At Brathay Trust today, colleagues at our Bradford base took time to celebrate themselves, one another and their achievements, highlighting and appreciating how important inclusive environments are. 🫂 It’s so important to take time to appreciate everything we are and everything we bring to each other and to work. 🫶🏻 Today is not only about celebrating the incredible achievements of women around the world; but also about continuing to fight and campaign for a gender-equal world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. 💜 This means action. From everyone in the workplace. Together, we can continue to empower, inspire, invest in and uplift each other in and outside of the workplace to create the world we aspire to live in where the drive behind International Women’s Day is no longer needed! Let’s continue to be champions for women and help to #InspireInclusion. #IWD2024 #BreakTheBias #GenderEquality #StrongerTogether #InvestInWomen #WomensRights #ChooseToChallenge
Our Bradford Team celebrated #InternationalWomensDay by unleashing their inner artists and painting self-portraits! 🎨 It was a special moment for the incredible women in our community staff to pause and reflect on themselves and achievements. Their work in the #Bradford community is vital. Everyday they inspire young people to build brighter futures✨ How have you celebrated #IWD today? Let us know in the comments. #BuildingBrighterFutures

A woman is killed in domestic violence every 4 days in Australia. 1 in 3 women over the age of 45 - even professionals - live below the poverty line in Australia. The fastest rate of homelessness in Australia is for women over 55. (women’s poverty is so ignored that women in this group are referred to as “the silent poor) It’s time to speak up and do something about it. They’re not woke or sexy or fashionable issues, but women make up roughly half the population, and yet we’ve had to be pushed to protests around the country for this to finally start gaining some coverage . Trans and non-binary people have my full support, but they make up a tiny percentage of the population in comparison to women and their issues get far more attention and support from the press. On behalf of Australian women, please help and support us with the same passion and care. If you can do that, we can finally start seeing positive change. ♥️ this post and share it ♻️ to speak up and spread the message Thank you Raine & Horne Group and Raine & Horne Commercial for your support! #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #women #integrity

This sounds straight up like a corrupted organization. What happens is that one person is implanted into a great organization and then they corrupt through management and marketing. Money that is supposed to help the marginalized and impoverished soon just helps a few people that really do not need it. Next thing you know there are no clients just a couple of people sitting in a desk in a building really offering no services. Meanwhile they impoverished are victimized and thrown to the curb. We need to continuously call this out an find out legal ways to handle such destruction within out Frist Nations communities-and move fast to stop it.
Supporting culturally relevant data, evidence-based decision making, and First Nations data sovereignty.
How many more people need to be harmed until board takes action, including the indigenous women and families this org is meant to be helping. This makes it over 200 staff turnovers since new ED started in Nov 2016. Shame

The theme for 2024 is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” This month, MCHC encourages everyone to recognize women throughout our country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions. Today, equity, diversity and inclusion are powerful driving forces that are having a wide-ranging impact on our country. As a healthcare organization, MCHC understands that women are in the forefront of reevaluating the status quo. Women are looking anew at what harmful social policies and behaviors exist and, often subtly, determine our future. Women in communities across the nation are helping to develop innovative programs and projects within corporations, the military, federal agencies, and educational organizations to address these injustices. #NationalWomensHistoryMonth #mchc #FQHC

Advocacy can mean so much. This year's #WHM2024 theme is pointed and purposeful in urging us to think deeper about how we advocate for ourselves and women in the industry. Our latest leadership letter addresses the power of advocacy and how it remains at the core of WTS's work. https://lnkd.in/eT6JGbWv
