Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM) (OTC:TTTNF) is building towards a mineral resource update at the Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador, having confirmed surface #gold mineralisation stretching over the entire 9-kilometre-long epithermal gold corridor. The company has also expanded the Iguana prospect significantly – surface geochemical results have sketched out an area of 4 kilometres by 1.5 kilometres, up from 2.5 kilometres by 300 metres, with multiple new mineralised veins at surface. TTM is particularly interested in Iguana South due to high-grade gold results from trenching over that area of the prospect. The prospect produced results grading up to 3 metres at 21.4 g/t gold and 14.1 g/t silver from outside the current mineral resource of 700,000 ounces of gold and 4.8 million ounces of silver. Viking Mines has completed an updated JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) report for the Canegrass Battery Minerals Project in Western Australia. The MRE has proven highly successful, with a 103% increase in the contained V2O5 to 2.2 Billion Pounds within the total MRE (>0.5% V2O5) of 146Mt at 0.70% V2O5, 31.8% Fe & 6.6% TiO2. Significantly, a high-grade subset of the MRE contains 27.5Mt at 0.87% V2O5, providing the basis to move forward and commence with a Scoping Study on the Project. The opportunity to produce a direct ship Iron Ore concentrate from the Project with credits for #Vanadium content to be investigated by the Company. West Cobar Metals is pleased to announce a substantial increase to Mineral Resource estimates for rare earth elements (REEs), titanium dioxide, scandium and alumina at the Company's 100%-owned Salazar Critical Minerals Project, 120km NE of Esperance, Western Australia. The Salazar Project contains substantial Mineral Resources of high value critical minerals, including a globally significant scandium resource of 15Mt at 100ppm Sc. The Salazar Project, including the additional O'Conner REE deposit, now has a total inferred and indicated resource of 230 Mt at 1178ppm TREO. Recent drilling results support the understanding the REE, scandium, alumina and titanium dioxide deposit extends south beyond the current resource envelope, with potential for major increases in tonnages of all the reported commodities. PAC Partners published a research update on Xanadu Mines Ltd with a risked price target of A$0.18/share (previously A$0.13). PAC incorporates their expectations for additional sulphide ore (for upcoming Resource), delayed expansion timing allows for greater high grade ore processing over the first 6+ years, and elevated processing throughput for the Kharmagtai #copper #gold project, in #Mongolia. Revisions are driven by items pre-announced by #XAM; PAC strongly suggests the PFS will deliver a superior project. Furthermore, PAC see the recent acquisition for Rex Minerals Ltd (ASX:RXM) implies a benchmark value of A$0.16 to A$0.18/share for XAM, priced solely on contained copper portion (lower end) and copper equivalent (upper end) Kharmagtai Mineral Resource. They also noted that with Kharmagtai having a higher Resource ratio of contained gold to contained copper relative to Hillside, it is important to account for gold, too. Waste Pressure Clean Energy Developer | Helping Oil & Gas Reduce Power Costs and Achieve Sustainability Goals
Now this is a financial model that I would love to dive in to. A feedstock cost of $19,000/tonne, a market value of $5,000/tonne, $71MM in financing costs plus G&A and what appears to be undefined secondary commodities create a lot of room that a sensitivity analysis needs to make up. It is a worthy endeavor to resolve the techno-economic problems for rare earth mineral extraction but I feel like we skipped a step in our critical minerals roadmap. Until we have secured our feedstock with mines that can deliver sufficient low cost feedstock, Sask's dreams of being a critical mineral hub will struggle to secure commercial term sheets.
