Antipa Minerals Limited (ASX:AZY) is ready to begin an extensive drilling program this week at the 100%-owned Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project in the Paterson Province of Western Australia. Phase 2 of the company’s 2024 exploration campaign is scheduled to include 70 drill holes for up to 11,000 metres, comprising 66 reverse circulation (RC) holes for up to 10,000 metres and four diamond core holes for up to 1,000 metres. The key objectives include growth of existing mineral resources at the GEO-01 deposit and Minyari Southeast along with pursing new #gold discoveries within multiple high-priority areas. These include GEO-01 South and North targets, the Minyari Southeast extension target, which was identified during Phase 1 drilling, and the Minyari Plunge target beneath Minyari North. Caligula: not the Roman Emperor who descended into madness and depravity as so elegantly played by Malcolm MacDowell and a film I have not seen of course 😇, but a new, very large and significant copper soil anomaly at our Arkun Project a few hours drive east of Perth which has the pathfinders suggestive of a porphyry copper deposit with gold assays yet to come. The anomaly is also coincident with a number of MobileMT conductors identified in one of the first-ever surveys done in Australia using the MMT technology of Expert Geophysics Limited. We have generated some significant conductors across the central Arkun project and we have more news to come on that as we work through the data. It is a breakthrough exploration technology and you should go take a look! Caligula needs to be drilled (MacDowell style?) and we will be working towards this over the next few months with land access negotiations already underway. Riversgold Limited (ASX:RGL) has encountered #SupergeneGold at much shallower depths than anticipated at the Northern Zone (NZ) Gold Project near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. A reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign intersected #gold mineralisation to the north and south of the company’s maiden diamond drill hole on the tenure. The drill bit was aimed specifically at a shallower, up-dip zone of mineralisation, hitting up to 18 metres at 4.14 g/t gold from 36 metres of depth and 54 metres at 0.38 g/t gold from 158 metres. RGL intends to expand its exploration efforts with more drilling to the northeast, following the trend of the mineralised porphyry gold system. Riversgold Limited (ASX:RGL) has begun a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Northern Zone Gold Project, 25 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in the heart of Western Australia's Goldfields. The drilling is progressing well, with four holes totalling 700 metres already completed. Riversgold is prosecuting the campaign with a view to delivering a maiden gold mineral resource estimate. The gold mineralisation at Northern Zone is hosted in a porphyry intrusion, with drilled widths exceeding 100 metres in true width. In addition to the RC drilling, aircore drilling is also underway at the Northern Zone Project, where 11 holes, amounting to 783 metres, have been completed so far. The aircore drilling is designed to test the project for supergene gold, which is gold that has been chemically or mechanically transported and re-deposited near the surface. Touchstone Exploration Inc. (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF) told investors it has made a "great start" to the year, as it reported the successful drilling of the Cascadura-2 well, which promises to significantly increase production volumes at the field in Trinidad. Drilled to a depth of 7,132 feet, Cascadura-2 was cut short of its intended 8,300 feet target depth as the company opted to preserve a significant pay section after encountering a high-pressure gas zone. Analysis of drilling data revealed a total sand thickness of around 525 feet within the targeted Herrera formation. The well, now being prepared for casing, is scheduled for production testing directly into the Cascadura natural gas facility in the third quarter. The company also noted the imminent start of drilling for the Cascadura-3 development well.
