Food for thought for other verticals. Similarly, in professional services, bios are often used to humanize technical fields (technology, engineering, legal, etc.). I often see firms going overboard with personal facts *over showcasing expense/value prop*. But every time we ask our clients’ clients about what truly matters, when we probe past the commonly cited “it’s all about relationships,” they place “expertise” above all else. #AEC #AECmarketing #ProfServMarketing #SMPS
The results are in! Here are our preliminary findings on what really matters in a physician's bio. 1. 92% of survey participants are reading bios. 2. Patients don't want to know what their provider's hobbies are or if they have pets. They want to know why they became a doctor in the first place and their care philosophy. 3. Reviews matter more than what they hear from friends and family. We'll share the full report in October. Stay tuned!
