Boxes don't have to be boring. I just got a shipment of super tasty soup dumplings from MìLà and Jennifer Liao and the box was cute and clever. We buy their soup dumplings in store usually (their packaging is pretty simple) so getting a shipment and seeing all the custom branding was a fun touch. 👉🏻Great brands know that every opportunity to delight your customer should be taken. What do you think about mascots? What about mascots made of food?

Matilda has been one of my favorite beer for long. It's an American take on Orval (the name itself is a reference to the legend of Orval) brewed by Goose Island Beer Company in Chicago. It seems to be continually unsatisfied with its visual brand identity! Over the last 10 years I believe I've seen 7 different re-designs/colors/bottles! How important is consistency? How far can you stretch your design before your consumers don't see you anymore? How do you learn from each adjustment? Is this the result of high brand manager rotation? #insight #packaging #VBI #marketing #branding #beer

Are you a Frog 🐸 Duck 🦆 or a Gorilla 🦍 ? Brand characters are proven to be winners. Especially in the pursuit of brand saliency. Just look at the decorating tape aisle(seriously I don’t get out much 😂). It is beginning to look like a Zoo. Frogs say sticky. Gorillas strong. Ducks are the incumbent. But this works doesn’t it? In all seriousness it’s a lesson in brand building. The most boring, homogenous, conventional products can be premiumised with a bit of brand thinking. Look at those prices. 12 quid for some tape!! Just because it’s ‘gorilla tape’. I’m a frog guy 🐸 #brandbuilding #marketing #brandcharacters #creativemarketing #brandconsultancy

The great thing about working with cigars is that each one of them is completely different. They are produced with unique plants, unique harvests, and hand-rolled. This production came out with mint and chocolate notes. The client shared some of the inspiration he found on the internet. Me? I like to inspire myself out there, looking at real packaging. Where? Supermarkets are the place where you will find the most efficient (and not so efficient) different kinds of packaging to contain any kind of product, from any kind of brand. Every project I work on, I do it with passion and attention to detail. My goal is for your company to have successful growth by adding value through visual communications, marketing, and design. And tell me, does this packaging make you imagine how this cigar could taste just by looking at it? Let me know in the comments! #MyPortfolio2024 #MyJourney #Packaging

Good design can't exist without good copy. A solid brand strategy can't exist without a brand story. The new Sovi Wine Co. story was created through our collaborative brand strategy and brand identity work. Mads Hanna brought it to life as we worked to reposition Sovi in the non-alcoholic wine category. The Sovi story: We believe a glass of NA wine should be savored— without feeling like you’re sacrificing taste or ritual. Since day one, we’ve rejected the industry-standard methods of mass-producing mediocre NA wine, because we knew we could do it better. At Sovi, we craft distinctive non-alcoholic wines to support your balanced lifestyle.

Marketing, brand awareness and what's in a name. Erin Calvo-Bacci answers the question: What are the most common challenges in brand design collaboration and how do you overcome them? #getstuffed #chocolate #peanutbutter #smallbusiness
Owner of chocolate manufacture and online retailer CB Stuffer. Award Winning Retail Advocate. Success breeds success!
One of the most common challenges in brand design collaboration I've seen is when the name is too difficult to pronounce or when the font is not easy to read. Have a purpose behind the brand name and possibly a slogan. At CB Stuffer our parent name is Bacci Chocolate Design which a lot of people assumed is Baci as in Baci Perugina. In 2015 we rebranded to CB Stuffer and added the tagline chocolate with... stuff and then adopted #getstuffed. We make one of the largest peanut butter cups on the market so it wasn't unusual for people to refer to our product as that mass produced peanut butter cup name, but through consistent marketing we are training people and our customers to say stuffers.
