Gamedevmap.com is one of the best resources for finding work in the game industry. I have gotten multiple jobs that I found using gamedevmap. You can often find hidden gems, including studios you may not know of, and job listings that aren't well publicized. Pick locations where you'd like to work (or work from remote). Then go through the list of studio websites at that location and look for a "jobs" or "careers" page. If you don't see one, try checking the footer, sitemap, or contact page of the website.
Happy New Year! The final gamedevmap.com data drop of 2024 is live with over 170 new entries and over 8900 entries in total! Wishing you all a peaceful and prosperous 2025. A special thank you to everyone who made a donation to gamedevmap in 2024. 💚

Hi Friends! We're collecting beverage pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House! We'd love your help in raising funds for this amazing charitable organization. Where do I take my tabs? Saving pop tabs is easy. Simply remove the tab off your cans, save them up and drop them by our office at 2420 Iowa St. Can't get out? - send us a message and I'll come by and collect them :) Why pop tabs and not the entire can? Because pop tabs are smaller and easier to store. The tabs are also paint free and pure aluminum, which increases their value and profit when recycled. So, pull your tabs for Ronald McDonald House, but be sure to recycle the cans. Here are some fun facts about tabs: • One pound of tabs is about 1,500 tabs. • Each tab measures about 1 inch, so there are 12 tabs in one foot. • It would take 63,360 tabs, placed end to end, to reach a mile. • One million tabs end to end would stretch 15.78 miles. Thank you so much - this small act can help many - we appreciate you - let's make a difference 💖

Click through the link below and comment "Happy Birthday!" on our Reel to help Milton's support our nonprofit partner, The Birthday Party Project!
Today, Milton’s is celebrating 28 years of innovating delicious, better-for-you foods that everyone can enjoy! We are thrilled to celebrate our own brand anniversary in a way that supports and amplifies the incredible work done by our nonprofit partner, The Birthday Party Project. We joined them yesterday in Dallas, TX at one of their monthly birthday parties and brought something extra special for all to enjoy – a custom Milton’s Pizza cake from Elizabeth Rowe at The London Baker! I’m excited to share that Milton’s will be donating $1 to The Birthday Party Project for every “Happy Birthday” comment posted now through May 17 on our Instagram Reel where we’re highlighting this amazing partnership and the joy we helped spread to kids in need. I invite you all to join me in celebrating Milton’s 28th birthday by clicking through to the Instagram post linked below and leaving a comment to help support such a worthy cause. #makeitmiltons #joychangeslives https://lnkd.in/gbdMyWTc

Puppies make a difference! By incorporating a touch of puppy love in our emails, we’ve increased our positive reply rate by 50%. For every email response we receive, regardless of its nature, we donate puppy food. Just last month, we donated 18,750 bowls of puppy food. Some clients hesitate to incorporate a charitable donation to puppies in their emails, thinking it might clash with their brand. But the data speaks for itself: people across all industries and management levels love puppies. This small touch catches attention and fosters a positive perception of the brand while feeding hungry pups! Imagine if replying to an email could help feed puppies. Would you read and respond to that email? (Pictured: A response from a prospect who couldn’t resist the puppy P.S.)

I grew up in rural Virginia with family that has been in farming and agriculture for generations. In 2020, I was starting to think about my retirement from the National Guard and doing research for an organization that supports veterans, farmers, and the local community. I wasn’t expecting much, but at the top of my google results was Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture (great job with your #SEO)! It’s not often that you find an organization that aligns to your personal experiences and values in a way that I’ve found with this amazing organization and Pamela Hess. Arcadia's mission is to cultivate vibrant local food systems that prioritize health, equity, and sustainability, from the farm forward. They are delivering on that mission and making an impact here in DC and beyond when their Veteran farmers go back to their local communities across the country. They working to reimagine our food systems so we can meet the needs of our under-resourced communities. This is important work that shapes our #future with #sustainable solutions. I’m sharing this broadly to help them generate the needed funds to support their mission. Every dollar we raise will go toward: 1. growing fresh healthy food for the community (1 million servings plus since 2016!) 2. training military veterans to be farmers (230 from 22 states so far!) helping build little appetites for fruits and veggies (13,500 children have been to Arcadia at farm camp and field trips since 2011!) 3. leapfrogging the barriers low-income families have to access nutritious foods ($2 million worth of food sold and distributed in under-resourced neighborhoods since 2012. Arcadia's Mobile Markets represent less than 1% of all farmers market sales in DC but complete 45% of all food stamp transactions at farmers markets.) Let me know if I can connect you more closely to Arcadia. And please ask me about the amazing annual farm dinner!
On Wednesday, April 24, we are all taking to our computers for an annual online day of giving called Spring2Action (via ACT for Alexandria). Donate here: https://lnkd.in/eEkWbSt We are raising $30,000 to support Arcadia Farm (new fences to keep critters at bay), our new Community Farm opening next month (food sovereignty! entrepreneurship! dinner tables laden with veggies!), Arcadia Farm Camp scholarships, our school & community gardens, our Veteran Farmer Program, and our Mobile Markets. You'll hear more about each of these over the coming days -- but TL;DR? $10 is great (if everyone who gets this gave us $10, we'd blow the lid off!) $1,000 gets you two free seats at our fabulous Fall Harvest Farm Dinner. Any amount in between or above makes it possible for Arcadia to do its important, impactful work: - We grow the supply of fresh healthy food - We train new farmers to produce it - We stoke the appetites of children and families for that fresh, nutritious food - We leapfrog the barriers that people without much money or easy access face to get their hands on it. Arcadia only works because of you: your volunteer labor, your ideas, your cheerleading, and yes ... your donations. Thank you for bringing all of this work to life. Your friends at Arcadia https://lnkd.in/eEkWbSt

I have to share this post for two reasons. One is that I am a proud trustee for Humanimal Trust and really believe in One Medicine for humans and animals (watch the video - Noel explains it better). The second is that I know how many will appreciate how ridiculously cute Noel’s cat, Richochet, is! #onemedicine #humanimaltrust
Happy 10th Birthday Humanimal Trust!! Today, 6th May, we are celebrating our 10th birthday, the day our charity was founded by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick back in 2014. This day is now known as One Medicine Day. We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and dedication for the charity. You are all amazing! Without you we simply would not be here. Thank you from everyone here at Humanimal Trust.
