After being at LSX last week, I'm excited about the future of drug delivery Here's why: 🔬 👨🔬 1/ Venture capital for seed stage companies is opening up, more M&A expected. This means more money for drug delivery and discovery startups 2/ Lots of innovative companies using AI for drug discovery and trying to make their own assets. This means companies like Persist will be able to partner with together on the drug delivery side. 3/ Corporate development and partnerships from big pharma are actively looking for partners for new assets. This will drive the creation and growth of the whole ecosystem (discovery + delivery) because more mature assets get eyeballs from pharma. 4/ Continued focus on improving patient outcomes from Big pharma. If you have a strong therapeutic + a delivery approach, Big pharma partners are open to discuss and guide the development so that there can be future M&A opportunities.
