In an era where cost-cutting is often seen as a quick fix, Neeraj's words remind me of the enduring importance of value creation. Theoretical frameworks, like Value-Based Management (VBM), emphasize aligning a company's overall aspirations, analytical techniques, and management processes to focus on maximizing value. The idea is simple yet profound: decisions should enhance value rather than merely reduce expenses. Reflecting on this, I realized how often we get trapped in the cost-centric mindset. It's easy to measure costs and savings, but value is multidimensional and sometimes intangible. Yet, value is what drives customer satisfaction, long-term growth, and sustainable success. In my experience , I’ve seen firsthand the difference this mindset can make. When we prioritized value over cost, we not only improved our offerings but also strengthened our customer relationships and market position.
