March 23, 2024 God's gifts "We do the footwork and accept what's being given to us freely on a daily basis." Our relationship with our Higher Power is a two-way street. In prayer, we speak and God listens. When we meditate, we do our best to listen for the will of our Higher Power. We know that we are responsible for our part of the relationship. If we do not pray and listen, we shut our Higher Power out of our lives. When we think about our relationship with our Higher Power, it's important to remember which one we are: the powerless one. We can ask for guidance; we can ask for willingness or strength; we can ask for knowledge of our Higher Power's will--but we cannot make demands. The God of our understanding--the one with the power--will fulfill that half of the relationship by giving us exactly what we need, when we need it. We need to take action every day to keep our relationship with a Higher Power alive. One way we do this is by applying the Eleventh Step. Then we remember our own powerlessness and accept the will of a Power greater than ourselves. Just for Today: In my relationship with my Higher Power, I am the powerless one. Remembering who I am, today I will humbly accept the gifts of the God I understand.

JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD AND TRUST GOD'S PROCESS... There are times when God puts things in our hearts (dreams, aspirations, goals) and He gives them to us right away. There are other times, and this seems to be the majority, when God puts things in our hearts and then makes us wait. Often, we can wonder what God is doing. We can begin to ask, “Did I really hear from God?” Or perhaps the biggest question we can ask is, “God, what is taking you so long?” I have found that during those times of waiting, God prepares us for His promise. During our waiting, He teaches us things. He grows our character, our faith, and our ability to do what we feel called to do. God takes us through a process. The question is, “Will you trust the process?” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (Proverbs 3:5)

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Sometimes it is difficult for believers to completely trust in the Lord; we have our fears about the delays that may arise if we leave everything to God. We ask, what if he doesn't show up on time? So the temptation to lean on our own understanding, or that of others becomes real. Oftentimes we struggle to trust God because of doubt; this doubt is influenced and based on the set of information available to us; these can be what we hear, see, imagine, think about, etc; which eventually affect our faith. We can be so comfortable in our negative situation to the extent that, we may not be interested in seeking solutions, we just accept it like that; we can be so negatively affected in our faith to the point that we rule out any hope in God. We can even conclude that God only hears the prayers of some people, but not ours. When we lean on our understanding, the enemy can make us feel comfortable there; so even though you know things are not going well, you just stick to that position like that. It is time to break away from our understanding, no matter the situation at stake and begin to trust in God. Let us break down the negative, fearful, worrying, disappointment, failure, faithless, and mistrust. May we refuse to fall into the trap of not trusting God this year. Have a blessed Tuesday. *Prayer Point:* 1. Forgive me for not trusting you enough. 2. Please forgive me for trusting in people instead of you. 3. Help me to trust you completely and not partially. 02/01/2024

#Kapsul: Submit your works to God and He will take you to the summit of those works. #Commentary: When we surrender our efforts and endeavors to God, He will guide, empower, and elevate us to reach new heights of success and impact. Scripturally speaking, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." - Psalm 37:5 Submission is an act of trust, faith, and humility. God's plans and purposes are higher than ours. When we surrender our works, God takes ownership and perfects them. His guidance and empowerment lead to greater fruitfulness and impact. - Recognize God's sovereignty over your life and work. - Surrender your plans, goals, and endeavors to Him. - Trust in His guidance and empowerment. - Be faithful in your work, and watch God take you to new heights. #Affirmation: I will learn to submit my works to God, trusting in His divine partnership, and experience the joy of seeing my efforts flourish under His guidance and grace.
