The beginning of a new year is an ideal time to stop, look up, and get our bearings. To that end, here are some questions to ask prayerfully in the presence of God. 1. What’s one thing you could do this year to increase your enjoyment of God? 2. What’s the most humanly impossible thing you will ask God to do this year? 3. What’s the single most important thing you could do to improve the quality of your family life this year? 4. In which spiritual discipline do you most want to make progress this year, and what will you do about it? 5. What is the single biggest time-waster in your life, and what will you do about it this year? 6. What is the most helpful new way you could strengthen your church? 7. For whose salvation will you pray most fervently this year? 8. What’s the most important way you will, by God’s grace, try to make this year different from last year? 9. What one thing could you do to improve your prayer life this year? 10. What single thing that you plan to do this year will matter most in ten years? In eternity?

Greetings, LinkedIn family! 👋 I pray that all of you are doing well on this good Friday. For today's message, I want to share with you the three things God does when He calls you." "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." - Ephesians 4:1-3 There are times during our life's journey when we sense a strong calling—an obvious jolt from God. After giving this some thought, I've found three astounding things God does when He calls us: 1️⃣ Ignites Purpose: When God calls you, He ignites a flame within us that reveals our missions. This supernatural revelation is a calling that unites our abilities, interests, and values and directs us toward making a significant impact on the world. It is not merely a job or a duty. It is about God commissioning us to fulfill it. 2️⃣ Refine Your Character: God's call is about who we become, not just what we accomplish. Like a blacksmith crafting raw metal into a work of art, refining may be a difficult task. Therefore, God shapes our personalities, giving us traits like patience, understanding, and humility to help us walk the road He has planned for us. 3️⃣ Connects A Community: A spiritual call frequently goes beyond personal fulfillment and integrates us into a larger network of connected lives. God arranges meetings, partnerships, and connections, building a community of his chosen people for support that enables us to carry out our purpose in unison. By accepting God's invitation, we will have a life-changing experience that reveals a purpose, develops character, and strengthens the community. Let's welcome the paradigm-shifting force of the divine calls and work together to change the world as we follow them. Have a blessed and peaceful weekend! Pray. But don’t pray for help. Don’t pray for guidance. Don’t pray to become something better. Instead. Pray to show Gratitude for what you do have. Pray for humility. Gratitude. The single most powerful word in humanity. By being grateful for what you do have. By being grateful that God has given you exactly what you need in life. By being grateful that the worst of situations shape you into the person you are meant to be. You become all that you have sought. The power of Gratitude is unfathomable. It’s a suit of armor that deflects all negatively. It removes hate It removed envy. It removed animosity. It removes all negativity from your heart. It’s glasses that put the world in focus. Pray that you get to take a new breath everyday.

Day Thirty Local Church The world will tell you that faithful attendance AND participation in the local church is unnecessary. They will not understand why you prioritize your time to include church service, activities, and fellowship. They’ll work to convince you that shorter services are better. More efficient and convenient. Every once in a while attendance will do. Even better, when you need to rest, watch online. If you desire to attend online only, feel free. In your pajamas with coffee in hand playing the church you tube channel in the background as you make breakfast. They’ll assure you they are more spiritual out of church on their own journey than in church under the guidance and counsel of a local pastor. Remember this, that is the world view through the foggy lens of deception. Spiritual growth and maturity happens as you are guided through the feeding of the word to your soul in a way that encourages you, challenges you, and sharpens you. Feeling more spiritual is NOT the goal. Inward holiness that becomes externally felt and seen without public service announcements, is a testament of your spiritual growth. You cannot disciple others if unable to be discipled yourself. More of Jesus, less of you, is the goal. I could go on and on but I won’t in this blog post on the thirtieth day of thankfulness for November. I’ll say this, if you have a local church you are committed to and they teach truth even when it’s hard to hear at times, be thankful for your church and pastor today. Say a prayer for him and his family. Thank God for the burden they carry to feed your soul. If you do not, find one. Quickly. Thoughtfully. Intentionally. Your soul literally depends on it. Today, I’m thankful for mine. DAY 2- DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE- YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT Long before we were conceived by our parents, we were conceived in the mind of God. It is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that we are breathing at this very moment. We are alive because God wanted to create us.God prescribed every single detail of our body. He deliberately chose our race, the color of our skin, our hair, and every other feature. He custom-made our body just the way he wanted it. He also determined the natural talents we would possess and the uniqueness of our personalities. Because God made us for a reason, he also decided when we would be born and how long we would live. He planned the days of our lives in advance, choosing the exact time of our birth. God also planned the place of our birth and where we would live for his purpose. Our race and nationality are no accident. God left no detail to chance. He planned it all for his purpose. The Bible says, “From one man he made every nation, and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.” Acts 17:26. God never does anything accidentally, and he never makes mistakes. He has a reason for everything He creates. Every plant and every animal were planned by God, and every person was designed with a purpose in mind. Why did God do all this? Why did he bother to go to all the trouble of creating a universe for us? The Bible tells us, because “God is love.” It doesn’t say God has love. God didn’t need to create us. He wasn’t lonely. But he wanted to make each one of us in order to express his love. God made us for a reason, and our lives have a profound meaning. We discover that meaning and purpose only when we make God the reference point of our lives. Young believers! Let's talk about something super important but often overlooked - quiet time with God. 🙏✨ What's quiet time, you ask? It's not your typical meditation or self-reflection session. It's a special moment when you chill with God, study His word and open your heart to receive something amazing that's beyond your own understanding. This isn't the same as your family's morning devotion or hanging out at church events. It's about building your own personal connection with God Almighty by diving into His word and living it out. Think of it like this: You're a stick of fire 🔥, and when you spend quality time with God, you become more flammable. Put a bunch of fiery Christians together, and boom! You've got a massive bonfire lighting up the darkness. But if you're not on fire for God, you're like a wet stick that can't catch the flame - you might show up to all the church events, but you're not adding to the spiritual heat. That's why we sometimes see churches growing in numbers but not in spiritual power like the early church. Too many Christians are soaking themselves in other stuff (even if it seems good) instead of sitting at Jesus' feet and soaking in His presence. So, are you ready to ignite your faith and become a blazing stick in God's bonfire?
