Sales people often get a bad rap for some of their behavior - this person's connection attempt is a case in point; here is the message: "Let’s connect! I’m with a partner organization associated with Cisco and my office is located right on the Santana Row strip, behind your building and I’d love to make an introduction." I am calling them out, as they failed sales 101 - know your customer. I don't work for Cisco, and I haven't worked for Splunk for a few years now. Also, it is clear from my information that I am not based anywhere near San Jose. And why should we connect? What is the mutual need or benefit? I assume that this salesperson blasted a form message to many at Splunk/Cisco, thinking quantity over quality would help them make connections. My message to them: If you want to be successful, at anything, do some research first. Develop some basic skills and don't rush things.

Ensure a successful technical customer journey, from onboarding to adoption, while continuously driving the consumption of Elastic solutions. Understand and articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align them with the customer's business goals. Work closely with customers to identify and eliminate technical frictions, promoting a smoother adoption and implementation of Elastic solutions. Liaise between customers and support , as necessary, to ensure an optimized support resolution experience smoothing the adoption curve for the customer.
