The AfterSell team offsite was an incredible 2-day experience that took place last week in Victoria B.C 🏔 ✈️ And what we realized after the event, is that the AfterSell team is quickly on their way to greatness 🏆 Each member of the team is a master of their individual discipline and dedicated to supercharging growth, which is required to scale a growing business 🚀 So how did we build such an incredible team? We interviewed for the following traits in the following order of importance: 1. Humanity first ❤️: More critical than any other traits, as we were hiring the AfterSell team, we interviewed for humanity. For empathy, for EQ, for strength of character. 2. Mission-driven 🌟: Almost everyone joined AfterSell for its mission to help eCommerce brands drive more revenue with our best-in-class upselling features - and it's a deep connection to that mission that binds us together. 3. Function expertise 💼: Our team members are best-in-class for their function and levels. Our interview process enabled us to confirm that they know their stuff so that now we have trust in their knowledge. As part of our day, we split up into teams and set-up a contest to see who could come up with the most 🔥 idea to drive growth for Network Offers – the winner got to pick between dumping water on Dhruv Patel's head or take advantage of $100's of dollars in free perks... can you guess what we picked? 😂

What makes a good business partnership? I've spent a lot of time in Melbourne this year. The Esby & Co team has been helping big business to source big tech and forge game-changing partnerships. People's lives will change. High stakes. I pinch myself. Clients come to us because we understand strategy, technology and business partnerships. They know we will deliver results fast through collaboration. But that's not what keeps us there. What keeps us there is because people enjoy doing business with us. We challenge each other.
