The way we work has changed dramatically over the past 5 years. From always in the office to being fully remote, to hybrid. And now we're encouraged to spend more time in the office again. The office isn't somewhere people go to work anymore. It's a hub to improve your employees' experience and productivity, and a creative space to collaborate. Has your office design changed to reflect this new way of working? Whether it's a complete fit-out or refurbishment, your investment will result in an improvement in the well-being and productivity of your staff. Interesting discussion with Tampa ABCActionNews regarding office space today. Coming from a prepandemic assembly line type office where employees were working shoulder to shoulder, I like others are now choosing their workspace and companies are changing the design of the office to fit the new changing needs and wants of their staff to encourage employees to return to the office.

Is your office hybrid enough? 🤔 Switching to hot desks and flexible offices can be a big adjustment. Studies show that there is a considerable need for such changes. ➡️ 87% of workers wish for greater flexibility in their work schedules. Here are a few ideas on how to adapt: Be organised: Provide tools like Trello or Slite to better organise and keep track of projects, especially when people are working in different locations. People at Comeen use them daily 👀 Be flexible: Give employees the chance to work in a range of environments. Create dedicated spaces across the office for different needs. You could have a quiet room, a music-allowed space, and an area where people can take a proper break. 😴 Be modern: Reservation platforms such as Comeen's ensure that you have a space when needed and avoid conflicts (it's no fun to spend half an hour in traffic only to find no space to sit 🤐). Of course there are many ways to make the office hybrid. How is it in your company?

Desk density at 1 per 100sqm....? Welcome to the (almost) deskless office 👇 "What’s the best place for reading emails, analysing documents, creating presentations or attending video calls? Once upon a time, the only answer would have been an ergonomic chair pulled up to a desk somewhere in an office. But when we survey people today, most say they’d rather do these tasks at home." "This presents an existential crisis for the traditional office. If the best place for desk-based work isn’t an office, then what exactly is an office for?" The shift towards a drop in clubhouse model is aligned with the predictions of many workspace strategists, and also aligned with the multiple data points from employee feedback. But what's interesting here is the case study - a government department. Great article from Daniel Davis from Hassell. #futureofwork https://lnkd.in/gTpZ8eb3
