Grupo ACS achieves a net profit of € 605 million up to September 2024, a 5% increase. We have just published the results corresponding to the third quarter of the year. These are the main figures: ✔️ Ordinary net profit, excluding extraordinary impacts of both years, up 13.6% to €489 million. ✔️Sales amounted to 29,702 million, up 12.5%. ✔️EBITDA grew by 17.9% to 1,679 million. ✔️ Backlog exceeds 86.5 billion, a record high after growing by 15.5% in 12 months. (MPIC) may reconsider acquiring Ayala Corp.’s stake in Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) due to unresolved valuation issues, according to its chairman. “We talked to them before, but there’s a bit of a gap in valuation, and I do not know how we can bridge it,” MPIC Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Manuel V. Pangilinan told BusinessWorld recently. In February, MPIC said it was exploring the possibility of acquiring Ayala’s stake in LRT-1, following Ayala’s divestment plan announcement. According to Mr. Pangilinan, MPIC’s interest in acquiring Ayala’s stake was driven by the potential opportunity to participate in the planned auction for the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3). The Transportation department is also evaluating MPIC’s unsolicited proposal to integrate the operations of MRT-3 and LRT-1. The company hopes to close the sale of its 35% stake in LRT-1 within the year to realign its portfolio in property, telecommunications, and energy. MPIC, through its unit Metro Pacific Light Rail Corp., holds 35.8% stake in Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC), the operator of LRT-1. The remaining shares in LRMC are owned by Sumitomo Corp. at 19.2% and Philippine Investment Alliance for Infrastructure’s Macquarie Investments Holdings (Philippines) Pte. Ltd. at 10%.

Below is EY's statement of affairs relating to ISG Construction, some lowlights at the point of administration:   1. £10M of assets of which £8M cash.   2. Shortfall of £16M to pay preferential creditors. I would not expect a payment to unsecured creditors.   3. Overall £333M deficiency.   4. £90M of trade creditors (unsecured debt).   The other ISG companies are more of the same, with ISG Fit Out yet to be published.
