🌍 GRI 14: Mining Sector 2024 - A Leap Towards Sustainable Mining‼️ 🚦We’re thrilled about the launch of “GRI 14: Mining Sector 2024”. This new standard, set to revolutionize #reporting practices, highlights the dual nature of #mining: its indispensable role in supplying essential #minerals and its significant #environmental and #socialimpacts. Effective for reporting in 2026, with early adoption encouraged, GRI 14 aligns with GRI Universal and Topic Standards, offering a common framework for #transparent #impactreporting. It's a significant step towards #responsiblemining, reflecting broad stakeholder expectations for #transparency. 👉 See and download the Standard ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gP5csPVU #SustainableMining #GRI14 #Transparency #EnvironmentalImpact #SocialResponsibility #Reporting #ResponsibleMining

More efficient mining operations are key to making mining more sustainable 🌍 Elemental analysis can help! By having deeper insights into the elemental composition of the ores being processed, mining companies can optimize the usage of valuable processing resources, such as water, energy, and chemicals. Better still, carrying out this elemental analysis at-line or on-line can generate more data in real time compared to a central laboratory. It also allows for immediate optimizations to critical processes ✅ @Michel Zoontjes, Product Manager EDXRF, takes us through these efficiencies and how the Epsilon Xflow on-line analyzer can help 🔬 It’s the ideal instrument for any mining industry processes including hydrometallurgy, leaching, electroplating, and wastewater. Scoping study results on Stellar Resources Heemskirk Project, strongly support the Company's decision to initiate a Prefeasibility Study last month to advance Heemskirk to be development ready. This work will focus on increased mining rates, optimising plant size and adding ore sorting to our process flow sheet. Ore sorting gives the ability to remove low grade material from the Process Plant, increasing the grade and lowering the cut-off grade. Overall, ore sorting enables: • More mineral inventory • Lower process cost per tonne mined • Reduced plant size and capex, or higher plant throughputs Discover more: https://loom.ly/OOGEn7o #StellarResources #tin #mining #ASX
