The tourism industry is a crucial part of many countries' economies, and it's no different for African countries. To activate the tourism sector, focusing on the 5 As - Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodation, Activities, and Amenities - is key. Dubai is a perfect example of a city that has implemented these components effectively. Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has positioned the city as a top attraction for tourists worldwide. With e-visas and multiple direct flight connections offered by Emirates, Dubai has made itself accessible to visitors from around the globe. African countries can follow Dubai's lead and work towards activating their tourism sectors by focusing on the 5 As. Let's make travel and tourism in Africa a priority! #Travel #Tourism #AfricaTourism

Anticipating an annual influx of 128.7 million visitors in the GCC by 2030, the proposal for a unified tourism visa for GCC residents raises the question of its potential positive impact on companies within the tourism and hospitality sectors. Notably, the region's shift towards a free-market, open travel environment post-pandemic underscores this initiative's strategic significance. The envisioned Schengen-like visa is poised to stimulate cross-border tourism, providing regional tourists with enticing options such as exploring Doha's luxury and rich cultural heritage, experiencing Al Ula's panoramic views in Saudi Arabia, or immersing in the stunning northern landscape of Oman's Hajar mountain range. Given that accommodation stands as a primary expenditure for any traveler, it is reasonable to anticipate substantial growth in the regional holiday home market. https://lnkd.in/dKrZb6p3
