What an incredible day! It was time for the padel to do the talking, as 20 doubles teams took to the courts for our first ever company tournament. To say this tournament was epic would be an understatement. Heroes stood tall, as padel giants were conquered (we know who we're talking about 👀). Huge congrats to our winners Ben & David. You defied the odds in the final and were truly the people's champions. We had such and awesome time! Thank you for being amazing hosts Club de Padel. And huge thanks to everyone who made this day possible: Dan, Saffron, ☁️ Antonia, Omar, Becca, Harrison, Sebastian, Katie Jane, Shanker, Megan, Adnan & Amarjit. This was all organised with the goal of raising money for our partner charity MS Together. We've not finished adding up the total raised. But are excited to contribute to such an amazing cause! P.S. Is 2 weeks enough? Activists in London made their thoughts clear on the UK's paternity leave policy this week. So, we thought we'd rewind to earlier this year. When we asked the people of Leeds what they think. At Strativ Group we're passionate about giving families the best possible support. That's why we offer 9 months fully paid parental leave. Check out these protests about paternity leave in London! Men campaigning for better paternity leave have attached life-size model babies in slings to famous statues across the city. Yep, Gene Kelly, Thierry Henry, Tony Adams... They've "slinged" them all! This is the work of the campaign group, the Dad Shift, who've called on the government to improve the UK’s parental leave options. Whatever you think of their actions... It's worth mentioning that the UK has the worst paternity leave offer in Europe - with only two statutory weeks of leave, paid at £184.03 a week. As a result... 1 in 3 UK fathers don't take paternity leave after the birth of their child! At Strativ Group we agree this isn't good enough. That's why we offer Dads 9 months fully paid paternity leave. It's why we offer Mums the same. Why we allow you to work the hours you want (and don't ask questions).
