First steps are hard. They require careful planning, calculated risk, and most of all, courage. We took a daring first step earlier this month with the completion of TA-1’s first powered flight, reaching high supersonic speeds approaching Mach 5. The flight was a landmark moment on our path to providing our customers and nation a reusable and routine hypersonic test capability. Congratulations to the Stratolaunch team and our partners on this achievement!
Stay tuned on our progress as we prepare to fly our first fully reusable Talon-A vehicle, TA-2, later this year. #hypersonic#firstflight#LetsRoc

In general, this is a new era. It's a historic flight. Never before has a company
performed hypersonic flight in this manner. [over radio]
Guys be safe, have a good flight. [Aaron Cassebeer]
Today is the culmination
of over four years of effort, It's our first attempt
at lighting the engine on Talon-A. So it's our first powered flight. [over radio]
Attention Mojave area traffic, Mojave tower is open. [Zack]
the goal is to release, get engine ignition, accelerate-
punching through the transonic and high supersonic regime
and then bringing it down into the water. [over radio]
The final inspection is complete and everything looks really good. Were good to fly. [Aaron]
Ultimately what we are trying to do at
Stratolaunch is to help our country operate hypersonic flight much more
regularly, more affordably and repeatably. The last time we had a reusable hypersonic
flight test vehicle was the X-15 in the 1960s. [Zack]
...but that was all with government funding. This is the first time that there's been such a test bed
with fully privatized funding. [over radio]
Test Control, youre cleared in: Card 9 Bravo. [Zack]
Teams pretty excited. I'd say there's a lot of nervous optimism
right now. [over radio]

Thanks Ricky.
Thanks so much. You get to that point in a test program
where it's time to fly... ...and today is that day. [over radio]

Mojave tower, roger. Cleared for the option. [Aaron]
Today is many different departments, many different peoples work coming together... ... and it's a huge day for this company. [Zack]
The hardest part of this has been ensuring that we have all the resources that the team needs
and there's no roadblocks and they can get this done as quickly
and as safely as possible. [Aaron]
In this country... ...there's only a handful of hypersonic
flight tests that actually occur each year And... when you're only flying a few times
a year thats not enough. And so this has been a long time coming. The nations needed it for decades... ...so there's a huge drive to learn, and to learn quickly,
and to advance the technology.
I love that a coyote is trotting across the tarmac pre-flight. To many the coyote is seen as a symbol of strength, wisdom, resilience and re-birth. Just watchout for his occasional trickery! It seems very fitting for all the "careful planning, calculated risk, and most of all, courage" in achieving this milestone. Congratulations!
It is amazing and marvellous. But I don’t understand the use of the multi-fuselage concept. Theoretically, a better distribution of bending moments (less accentuated in the proximity of the connection wing fusolage). Less wing weight, less required thrust. Is it possible that this aircraft concept was born for this reason? Why a single fusolage design can not be used? And why can not the rudders be joined (torsional moment reduction)?
Congratulations on the groundbreaking success of TA-1's first powered flight, hitting near Mach 5 speeds! This is a huge leap forward in hypersonic test capabilities. Kudos to the Stratolaunch team and partners. Can't wait to see TA-2 take to the skies!
I remember ROC's first flight... Seeing it take off and fly by all I could do was laugh because it looked kind of strange seeing such an insanely huge thing fly. Very cool!

Stratolaunch has successfully completed a series of envelope expansion flights for Roc, the world’s largest flying aircraft, culminating in the achievement of a new operational altitude of 35,000ft.
Roc is Stratolaunch’s primary air-launch platform for the hypersonic testbed Talon-A it is developing. The flight test program occurred from mid-May to Mid-June, and as well as the new altitude ceiling a speed of Mach 0.63 was achieved.

As Flight Simulator Research Pilot, I do several research flights like a test flight with new open source reliable virtual cockpit for family Boeing 787.

Information compiled based on sources shows that close to 1,500 commercial aircraft simulation devices are currently in use globally.
74 per cent are full-flight simulators and the balance are fixed-based flight training devices. Just over half of all simulation devices were designed for narrow-body aircraft, while widebody and regional jets count for 30 per cent and 11 per cent, respectively.
The remaining simulators were built for turboprop types. The flight simulator market is likely to record a CAGR of five per cent through 2032.

Aspiring pilots, here's your ticket to realistic training experiences and skill refinement. Full Flight Simulators are essential for pilot training, offering realistic experiences to refine skills and readiness for real-world scenarios. Aspiring pilots should select reputable Aviation Training Organizations (ATOs) and stay informed about the evolving landscape of simulation technologies.

Dear everyone,
In flight Boeing 737-800, I did startup procedure to cold ending at Chennai International Airport (VOMM) in flight simulator. This will help others who are starting out or travelling in flight have come across flight delays. This happens sometimes cuz flight captain & other pilot goes into extreme stress during Preparation, Take off & Landing to ensure safety of on boarded people. This video will show 70% of stress. Comment which flight simulator did I used?
