Hi Strava I think it's an interesting approach, but at the moment it has the bland aftertaste of a simple comparison with the past and a few words derived from it. No hints, recommendations or even setting goals are possible. It's a nice gimmick for now, but it doesn't add any value for the athlete. However, I'm curious to see where the journey will take us, as you are clearly declaring it as an beta version! A first step has been taken, go on! 😉

Nice idea with a lot of potential. But at the moment it doesn't add any value for me: I commute to work by bike every day. On my commute, I have to cross a bridge. Strava praises me: “Your activity had a solid elevation gain of 10 meters, slightly lower than your monthly average, but still a good performance.” btw: I have logged more than 70000 meters of elevation gain with strava this year.

I’m a very basic Strava user. All I want to know is where I was, how far I went, for how long, what gear I used (shoes, bike), and I want to be able to refer back my activity history. I’m not opposed to new features, but this just seems like just another notification that I’m going to disable. 😕 How about intelligence that tells me contextual statistics after an activity that is more meaningful?

I think the AI is a good approach and, in terms of the beta stage, completely sufficient. For the moment, however, I'm still missing some real insights. The previous training analysis was already very comprehensive and at a good level. At the moment, I see the AI more as a summary in prose text. I'm looking forward to further expansion stages.
