Exciting news! The Homeless World Cup has come to life in a new movie called "The Beautiful Game" on Netflix, staring Bill Nighy from Love Actually! It's not a documentary, but it features real players, including some from our Sacramento team, who were flown out to Rome to film as members of Team USA. The impact of this organization is truly unique and hard to express, but this movie does just that. I had the privilege of joining the board of Street Soccer USA Sacramento last year, which blended my love of soccer with my ties to VSP. It's been an amazing experience so far, and I'm thrilled to see the impact of this organization shared with a wider audience. Check out the movie and see for yourself! Watched The Beautiful Game the other night with my wife and loved it. In the midst of all the stupid RomComs, murder mysteries and stupid comedies - this was such a pleasure to watch. There is still a thing as a “feel good movie”. Totally enjoyed it!
