Two updates to share! 📚 Book Recommendation. Just finished reading How Big Things Get Done (https://lnkd.in/d4wkEmx4). This book is a real treasurehouse of wisdom both for the manager or an intending manager of any project. Full of insights and useful thoughts, they can directly impact your successful project execution. While reading, I saw how some of these insights could have prevented past mistakes in my projects. God, I wish I had read it years ago! It is the must-read for everybody who wants to deliver projects better and not fall into common pitfalls. 🔧 Project Update. Yesterday was huge for all of us at Stripo. We launched a new editor with co-editing! This journey began 5 years ago in 2019. We realized that our drag-n-drop editor had big limits. It was hard to manage and put new features on it. Huge changes, hundreds of lines of code. We decided to start fresh with a new editor. It should be based on solid infrastructure. This one is meant for manageability and further extension. The preliminary plan and proof of concept estimate was 9-12 months. As often happens in a project, we met too many unexpected challenges. By the book, they also are referred to as "black swans." It includes the choice of the proper model since we changed twice but remained with CRDT. It was necessary to switch to remote work because of COVID-19, the war in our country, and frequent blackouts. All these obstacles increased our timeline and budget. Not an easy task, though. Our team did not give up. There were stress and pressure from lots of customers wanting to use the new editor. There were several moments of being less motivated because of the prolongation of the project. But we finally made it. While the editor itself still isn't complete and needs many improvements and bug fixes, we are finally unblocked. From a product that only our team could see, now the world is open for it. Huge thanks to our diverse, enthusiastic team, united by a common goal. It's your hard work and dedication that made this possible! 💡 Advices. 1. I highly recommend How Big Things Get Done to project managers. Hundreds of valuable insights that could help not to get into so many "black swans" and deliver projects way more effectively. And of course, 2. Check out our new editor at https://my.stripo.email and give it a try. We’re constantly working to make it better every day. Your thoughts and feedback are invaluable to us – please share what you’d like us to improve or add. Together, we can create something amazing! 🌟
Exciting update at Stripo! 🔥 Our new editor users can now try real-time co-editing and version history, making collaboration smoother and edits traceable. Explore more, sign up for free if you haven't already 👉🏻 https://lnkd.in/esBiTef6 P.S. Share your insights with us - your feedback is important!

Waiting for the next Update of my WCAG 2.2 Card Deck? Me too - but private life made it impossible to release the next version. Anyway, here's a teaser: Thanks to Michele Cardinali and Andreas Santarsieri, an Italian version of the card deck will be published soon (Andrew Hick - translations for your map are also ready as far as I know). I'm also working on Decision Trees, Method Descriptions and more... And I restructured the file and components, to make the pages load faster (the more languages, the larger the file) Stay tuned and sorry for the delay! #A11Y #DigitalAccessibility #Accessibility #Barrierefreiheit #CardDeck #WCAG #W3C #Toolkit
