Employers that offer lactation programs for new parents have employee retention rates of 83%-94% after maternity leave, compared to the national average of 59%.
SimpliFed takes babyfeeding support a step farther than lactation support alone: Their nonjudgmental approach is tailored to each family’s personal baby feeding goals, regardless of whether they want to use breast, bottle, or both.
We’re so pleased to offer SimpliFed in the Beanstalk Benefits Suite. The comprehensive virtual support provided by CEO Andrea Ippolito and the SimpliFed team of Allies makes a difference: 87% of SimpliFed patients feed with breast milk for at least 3 months, compared to a national average of 69% – and that data translates to lower medical costs and better baby health.
If you want a platform that supports working mothers and fathers, the Beanstalk Benefits Suite was built for you. Check out @SimpliFed’s video below and learn more about them here https://bit.ly/450iuql
How does people-centered care align with related topics like respectful maternity care (#RMC), rights-based care, and nurturing care?

Digital maternity cards are being developed at the same time in many of the #Nordic and #Baltic countries. Development of digital #maternity cards is in the pipeline, and Latvian professionals are expected and invited to work closely with the Nordic experts. Electronic maternity cards at the national level would enable and promote the mobility of women and families.
The idea is to help optimize workflows, maximize the value of #clinical data, and connect medical professionals.
Transition from paper to digital maternity cards is ongoing but still in its early stages in many countries. This leads to #healthcare professionals finding themselves making double entries in various systems when using a paper and a digital maternity card in tandem. In addition, not all essential data from the paper-based maternity cards are seamlessly integrated into the #medical record systems, resulting in data fragmentation and redundancy.

✅ Higher maternal mortality, especially among minorities
✅ No mandated paid maternity leave
✅Fewer OB-GYN providers available for care before and after birth
Maybe we should trust people to determine when motherhood is right for them. 👈

The #BirthTraumaInquiry collected evidence from 1,300 women and found that maternity care of “shockingly poor quality” is all too common in the UK. #Healthtech can streamline efforts, helping care providers enhance the quality of their maternity services. Radar Healthcare's Rhian Bulmer discusses.

Our Manifesto for Injured People presents policy ideas we believe to be vital to improving the lives of many in our society. We hope that by publishing our manifesto, the plight of seriously injured people will be in the minds of prospective parliamentary candidates as we embark on the next #generalelection.
Today we discuss our policy ideas to ‘Invest in Women’s Health and Maternity Care Services’:
a. Conduct a nationwide review into maternity care and birth trauma
65% of maternity services are now classed as inadequate or require improvement for safety. These scandals are not one-off but instead represent wider problems within the NHS.
We support calls from the Maternity Safety Alliance for a national inquiry into maternity care.
b. End the maternity care postcode lottery
We must end the maternity care postcode lottery.
We call for a centralised approach to ensure consistent, high-quality health guidance for all women in the UK, irrespective of their location.
c. Invest in medical research for women’s health
There has been 5 times more research into erectile dysfunction than menstrual conditions.
The Government must ring-fence funding for research specifically into women's health, as the lack of medical research is harming clinical outcomes.

The Green Maternity Challenge is here to transform maternity care through sustainability! We are selecting six multi-professional teams to receive mentoring from the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH). These teams will develop SusQI projects aimed at identifying and addressing carbon hotspots in maternity care.
Teams will be encouraged to address problems related to one or more identified target areas, which have been determined through a literature review and carbon footprint analysis by challenge partners, in consultation with members of a lived experience group. We believe that by focusing SusQI projects on these target areas, maternity care can become more equitable and sustainable. The target areas can be viewed on the website.
Together, we can make significant strides towards more sustainable maternity care practices. Join us in this important mission!
