Exceeding these limits should result in overtime pay, not inhumane demands. Sadly, this isn’t just a local issue; similar allegations have surfaced in Amazon’s warehouses globally, leading to citations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in the US. Imagine being in these workers' shoes, toiling in the sweltering heat with supervisors monitoring every move. How would you feel if you were denied basic human rights? This issue is not just about labor laws; it's about dignity, respect, and ethical practices. For Amazon, and indeed any company, adhering to these laws isn’t just about avoiding legal trouble.
