Here’s the story of how we replaced a rail loadout facility in just 9 months: · Ag Partners, L.L.C. entrusted Younglove and our 100+ year legacy with the task of rebuilding a rail loadout facility from scratch in the wake of a grain dust explosion, · The project included the construction of six 40-foot-diameter silos equipped with eight interstice bins, aimed at enhancing efficiency and safety measures. · We incorporated one 20,000- and two 15,000-bushel-per-hour bucket elevators to receive trucked grain, which is then scalped over two 15,000-bushel-per-hour drag scalpers and cleaned over two 16,000-bushel-per-hour gravity cleaners. · We incorporated advanced reclaim systems for wet corn from silos and interstice bins, featuring a 10,000-bushel-per-hour drag conveyor and a 7,000-bushel-per-hour grain dryer. · We also orchestrated a combination of conveyors and receiving legs to build a robust rail loadout infrastructure rated at an impressive 60,000 bushels per hour. · One of our expert project managers acted as Ag Partners, L.L.C.’s single point of contact, and dedicated guide through the entire process This project truly exemplifies Younglove's commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions while prioritizing safety and efficiency. The benefits of offsite construction, which comprises the manufacturing, planning, design, fabrication, and assembly of building elements offsite are expansive. Manufacturing building components in a controlled environment results in enhanced quality control, cost savings, a schedule that is less adversely affected by weather conditions, minimized onsite waste, and the ability to schedule and sequence fabrication and delivery. Additionally, the environmental impact is lessened due to minimal shipping and packing materials delivered to the site and enhanced energy efficiency in the final construction.
