Le Corbusier’s work inspires me to see architecture as a solution to human needs. His ability to balance form and function while embracing bold ideas reminds me that true innovation demands courage. #ArchitecturalJourney #LearnFromTheMasters #ArchitecturalInspiration #LeCorbusier #VillaSavoye #Modernism

However, an upcoming project in the Netherlands shows that this might not be the case for long as it will build new houses that will include up to three floors, showcasing the increasing complexity of 3D-printed architecture - https://lnkd.in/grjRbECh

The Art of Blending Architecture with Nature Architecture is most powerful when it respects and blends with its natural surroundings. By using local materials and designing to fit the environment, we create spaces that harmonize with the land rather than disrupt it. A great example is the Fallingwater House by Frank Lloyd Wright, designed to be part of the landscape, merging with the surrounding forest and waterfalls. It perfectly represents how architecture can complement, rather than compete with, nature. A building shouldn’t dominate its landscape—it should enhance it. Architecture's true beauty lies in how gently it touches the earth. #Architecture #Sustainability #EcoFriendlyDesign #EnvironmentalHarmony #LocalMaterials

Check out this gem!
The Haddon Heights Municipal Building is more than just a cornerstone of the community. It’s a slice of architectural history! Nestled at the corner of Station Avenue and 7th Avenue, this mid-1960s marvel stands just outside the town’s historic district. But don’t let its location fool you, this building has its own story to tell. Check out those arched pillars! Back in the day, they were the essence of modern design and they still make a bold statement today. Created during the Thomas, Kolbe, Thomas era of the firm, this building is a proud piece of VISSI’s history (VISTORY). #architecture #architecturehistory #design
