Have you ever bought a new car and all of a sudden you start seeing that car everywhere❓ Until 18 months ago I didn’t realize 20% of the population drove White Ram 1500s💡 The fact that I bought a White Ram 1500 18 months ago activated my Reticular Activating System (RAS).  I unconsciously programmed my mind to start looking for White Ram 1500s. The same is true for your Ortho Sales career. The typical Big Ortho Rep has been programming their brain to look at things far differently than truly independent Ortho Reps.  I have had hundreds of conversations with Big Ortho Reps over the last three years.  Most of the conversations are similar… -Commission rates declining -Shrinking geography -Shrinking product portfolio -ASP declining -Autonomy declining -Workload going up -Stress going up 👆👆👆👆👆 is the reality of being a Big Ortho Rep in 2023❗ When I tell people I have never been more excited to be in Ortho Sales than I am today most people look at me like I have two heads 👽 👽 This is what I believe about our industry… -There have never been more quality products and services available to promote -New innovative products are coming out than ever before -Technology is rapidly changing  -Challenges and problems create opportunity The farther away from Big Ortho I get the more my RAS focuses on opportunities…Opportunities are everywhere if your RAS is looking for them. -Opportunities to help Orthopaedic Surgeons get what they want -Opportunities to help reduce Hospitals' and ASCs' spend -Opportunity to actually run a business There is a better way to Buy and Sell Orthopaedic Medical Devices
