Here we go again. Having done a few sports complexes over the last few years, figured why not do it again. KPI Engineering, Inc. is excited about this project and humbled to be able to be a part of such an impact on the town of City of Odessa, Texas! Glad to hear the excitement from City officials and others as the project continues to get underway. Also, looking forward to the impact sports tourism dollars will have on the area. The partnership with PAUL STRESING ASSOCIATES, INC. and RADDSports has already produced successful ventures for the complexes and municipalities we've worked with before. While the design and construction team which also includes Construction Manager Scherer Construction may not be directly involved in the operation of the complex, the team understands a successful implementation of the project is of prime importance and that includes its design, collaboration with selected contractors during construction, and final close out. A stadium is a facility used to host sports played on a field, such as football, baseball, rugby, track and field, etc. There can be as few as 100 seats or more than 100,000 seats. Professional baseball stadiums can often seat between 40,000 and 50,000 people. The football stadium can seat 65,000 to 90,000 people. A common design trick for all stadiums is that the middle of the field is slightly higher than the rest of the field to help with drainage. Most stadiums are also made up of auditoriums (of course), changing rooms, parking, retail, box office, television and audio rooms. Depending on the size of the stadium, the size of these facilities will also be different.
