Such a stark and unambiguous precursor of impending demographic doom. Clearly demonstrates 1. The cluelessness of policy makers and inability to face harsh realities (especially around immigration) are common denominators across just about every “developed” nation. 2. Business shifts like this are much more revealing than the rubbish facts and figures governments spout - especially if you work in strategic business/economic/public welfare forecasting. Sign of the times   The demographics of the world are changing so fast it’s sometimes hard to fathom.   Japan 🇯🇵 is one of the frontrunners in the developed world, with a fertility rate of about a quarter of that found in countries in Sub Saharan Africa according to the CIA’s World Factbook.
