The major part for civil engineering before construction is surveying. Presidency University Bangalore University. In this 21st century we are upgraded to a level where we just fly a UMV's or Drone to calculate all surveying objectives (eg: Rl's , Distance between two points on ground, Meansea level MSL).

🌟 Thrilled to Announce My First Publication! 🌟 I’m excited to share that my research paper, "Resilient Roads in Challenging Terrain: A Case Study of Siddhartha Highway in Nepal," has been published in Discover Civil Engineering, Springer Link. 🚧🌍 This study dives into the critical challenges of maintaining road safety and infrastructure resilience in Nepal’s mountainous terrain, specifically focusing on the Siddha-baba road section of the Siddhartha Highway, Known for its high accident rates and vulnerability to landslides, this highway plays a crucial role in connecting remote regions to urban centers. Our research involved: Detailed soil analysis with eight soil tests, Examination of traffic loads, weather conditions, and existing pavement performance, A comparative assessment of flexible vs. rigid pavement options. 🌱 Key Findings: While flexible pavements offer economic and staged reinforcement benefits, rigid pavements are more suited for the vulnerable sections due to their durability, safety, and maintenance advantages. A hybrid approach—rigid for critical areas and flexible elsewhere—is recommended to address both economic and safety concerns. This research contributes to the field of Sustainable pavement engineering, providing a model for pavement selection in mountainous regions like Nepal. I’m hopeful it will aid in improving road infrastructure and safety for remote areas. 🔗 You can read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/gShBVCQt I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who supported this research, and I look forward to continuing my work in creating sustainable and resilient infrastructure! #civilengineering #Rigidpavement #Flexiblepavement #pavementengineering #roadsafety #resilientinfrastructure #Nepal #SiddharthaHighway #publishedpaper
