What Do Most Trump Supporters Have In Common. 1. A “fear” of “those people” out numbering “white Christian racists”. 2. Foreign Aid should be abolished and America should be isolationist and withdraw from alliances with organizations such as NATO, United Nations, etc. 3. “Trumper Lie Indoctrination”. Repeating the same lie over and over again to “justify” immunity for acts of treason, election fraud, tax fraud, a classification of immigration as rapists, criminals, etc. 4. “Me Too Brotherhood Facisim” . The use of “Mass Power” that over powers the existing majority. Examples, 46 Republicans in Congress voting to withdraw from NATO . Republicans in the State of Pennsylvania confronting Police defending the Federal Capitol on January 6th. 5. Attacking social programs such as Social Security, Welfare, Medicare. Regulations to those that are not “Intitled”.

In the latest show of dysfunction, extremist Republicans are moving forward with the bogus impeachment of DHS Secretary Mayorkas. Policy disagreements are not high crimes and misdemeanors. This is solely political theater. This action would be the first time in 150 years and only the second time in U.S. history that the House is trying to impeach a cabinet member. We urge Congress to stop wasting taxpayers’ time and money on sham trials and get back to the business of the American people, such as fully funding the government and truly exploring fair and humane immigration reform that prioritizes the families and individuals who are caught in the middle of this politicking. https://lnkd.in/eVfpCvC4

The Alien Enemies Act, Explained This detention and deportation power poses an alarming risk of abuse and rights violations in both wartime and peacetime. Overview of the Alien and Sedition Acts Naturalization Act: The residency requirement for citizenship was increased from 5 to 14 years, limiting immigrant participation in political life. Alien Friends Act: Gave the President power to detain/deport non-citizens deemed threats during peacetime. Alien Enemies Act: Allowed deportation of non-citizens from enemy nations during wartime. Sedition Act: Criminalized false, scandalous, or malicious criticism of the government, targeting opponents of the Federalist administration. The Alien and Sedition Acts exemplify the delicate balance between government power and individual freedoms, serving as a cautionary tale. They highlight the ongoing struggle to protect democratic ideals and civil liberties in the face of national security concerns, reminding us of the importance of vigilance in upholding the constitutional rights of US citizens.

People are beginning to wake up and see how the Democrats over promised and under delivered. School Choice is on the ballot. Securing the border is on the ballot. Democrats perfected the Art of Anxiety to secure votes…..playing the R card and dividing the electorate. Disgusting. Treating people as chattel and keeping folks on a plantation of fear …..that sick game is beginning to show signs of disruption. Mothers and fathers want Liberty and Fairness in the Pursuit of Happiness. We live in a Merit based society. Whether it be the Corporate Boardroom or Sporting Sectors. Full disclosure; I am not a Biden or Trump guy. It is time for new leadership to emerge.

This article by David Frum offers keen insight into the current stalemate in Congress, and the truths it reveals about the current dysfunctional state of the Republican Party and their priorities. The responsibility to change leadership in 2024 falls directly in our hands as voters. “Negotiators in the Senate have produced a draft agreement on immigration and asylum. The deal delivers on Republican priorities. It includes changes to federal law to discourage asylum seeking. It shuts down asylum processing altogether if too many people arrive at once. The draft agreement offers little to nothing on major Democratic immigration priorities: no pathway to citizenship for long-term undocumented immigrants, only the slightest increase in legal immigration. The Democrats traded away most of their own policy wish list. In return, they want an end to the mood of crisis at the border, plus emergency defense aid for Ukraine and Israel. If this legislation isn’t passed (likely), this suggests 4 truths about Republicans. 1. Republicans don’t really care all that much about the situation at the border. 2. Republican priorities are really “no aid to Ukraine,” not “defend the border”. 3. Republican’s true goal revealed is failure and chaos (not action). 4. Democratic politics can be replaced by one man’s will - somehow return Trump to the presidency: He’ll bark; the system will obey.”” #justice #voteoutMAGARepublicans #GOP #commonsense #leadership #accountability #stoptheinsanity

Suspensions and expulsions are not the answer. The system needs an overhaul. Our focus needs to be supporting young people to make better decisions and feel as though they belong. https://lnkd.in/gbY7cD4K

A few months back, there was a debate in the media landscape in the UK following the violence that erupted after the fatal stabbing of three young girls. The violence began when misinformation spread online that the murderer was an asylum seeker who arrived on a boat. Fueled by an anti-immigration sentiment and the far-right, the UK saw some of its worse violence in decades. The debate in the media evolved around how to qualify these nights of violence. Should they be qualified as a "riots" or "protests"? According to the Cambridge dictionary, both are intertwined, a riot being "an occasion when a large number of people behave in a noisy, violent, and uncontrolled way in public, often as a protest". -- This reminded me a survey the Pew Research Center carried out in January 2003, as the Iraq war was looming. These were two of the questions asked: ▪️"Would you favour or oppose taking military action in Iraq to end Saddam Hussein's rule?" ✅ 68% favoured ❌ 25% opposed When asked the question differently, it yielded different results: ▪️"Would you favour or oppose taking military action in Iraq to end Saddam Hussein’s rule, even if it meant that US forces might suffer thousands of casualties?" ✅ 43% favoured ❌ 48% opposed The introduction of US casualties altered the results significantly. As numerous research shows, how you ask a question (and how you present information in general) influences people. -- 📊 The graph by More in Common pictured in this post demonstrates how approaching the question of the riots from another angle shows a different side to them. The survey revealed that the vast majority of Britons condemn the riots without hesitation. Interestingly, asking who, of the rioters or of the people that had to clean up after them, best represented Britain, the answer was overwhelmingly clear, even among supporters of the far-right Reform political party. -- ➡️ Think about this the next time you see a survey or poll. With the upcoming US Presidential elections, you're bound to come across a few! How could the questions be asked differently to yield different results? #criticalthinking #ukriots #poll #survey #immigration #farright

A high impact, business strategy advisor, executive mentor and leadership coach, driving Digital Business Change, Growth, Compliance and Innovation.
Neither of the mainstream political parties are fit to lead the United Kingdom, both have wishy washy nonentities as leaders and neither have cabinets capable of any constructive policies and are totally incapable of making any meaningful decisions on any subject whatsoever. Both parties appear to be controlled by senior Whitehall civil servants who have taken a vow of wokism, meaning nothing can happen, the vast majority of "middle England, Scotland and Wales" are totally ignored. Our police are hidebound by bureaucracy where proven criminals are being given the benefit of the doubt and victims are being persecuted. Our border force is unable to stop illegal immigrants and certainly can’t remove them, because of do-gooding rent a mobs who protest everything, in most cases without actually knowing what they’re protesting - ‘Queers for Palestine’ being the most bizarre example. The transportation system is near collapse, the roads are almost undriveable, the benefit system is being abused everywhere which means people in desperate need get nothing. Our armed forces don’t have the equipment or manpower to defend anything let alone attack. And our ex-service people get nothing and are left to rot homeless on every city street corner. Why are so many politicians so spineless? As they say "cometh the hour, cometh the man" but I suspect its going to a woman, with passion, focus, clarity of thinking, compassion, decision making skills and a whole host of other inherent personality traits that so many politicians are devoid of. And she would certain not be scared of Whitehall mandarins who do the square root of eff all, other than prevent anything from actually happening. #eyeseew #future
