Had the pleasure of sitting down with podcaster and fellow author Gabriel Garcia on his "Tales of the Wandering Scribe." Cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed the experience. Gabriel is kind, inquisitive, easy to speak with, and a natural at flowing one question into another. Take a look at the video to get my take on the nature of the historical craft, its importance, and what it is to work in history OTHER than in a college/university setting. I encourage all historians and scholars alike with a story to tell, especially those still young in there career (I'm looking at you, Will Kaiser, Marc H., Chandler Stark) to contact Gabriel and tell him you'd welcome a chance to be on the podcast. He really makes it easy, all you have to do is volunteer and he begins setting the schedule. The podcast is an opportunity to excel, to get yourself out there, and an easy line on the CV.
