Unasked for advice for Creatives (especially those with less than 5 years of experience): when deciding whether to stay put or take a new job that doesn't include a huge bump in salary but will let you produce great work you can bank on later in your career, GO FOR THE WORK and the money will come. Go for the money and you might get trapped in a place where you'll never have the chance to do great work. #careeradvice #creatives #advertising #PR #communications

A #community is only as strong as the strength of the #SupportedHousing and #socialcare services it provides. #socialhousing #ukhousing #care #support
Norton Place, a supported living project for adults with learning difficulties, celebrated its 20th anniversary this week. Celebrations were held throughout the day with residents, staff, friends and family. Since opening its doors in 2004, it has been home to 10 residents, and is dedicated to enhancing their lives through a variety of activities and programs. The project helps residents engage with the community, pursue personal interests, and develop new skills whilst facilitating independent living. Career breaks are pretty common and often result in a change of perspective, direction and motivation. Sharing this through a cv is tough, so Stevie ditches these in favour of profiles to share the narrative around your next career step 🧡
No matter the reason for your career break, getting a foot back in the door is a challenge. A new perspective, priorities and direction often come with it so Stevie offers the chance to share your story 🧡 Stevie knows the power of a great introduction, so we keep it simple and do just that. Tactically, morally and by every metric…
Chief Economist, Award-Winning Author, Speaker, Florida 500: Florida's Most Influential Business Leaders
Congratulations to James Repenning and the whole team at R&R Head Labs, a new fair chance employer in Denver, staffed with justice-impacted professionals. Jamie is the former president of the Floyd's barbershop chain and knows a thing or two about the business. But he also knows that people in search of a Second Chance show incredible commitment and provide an exceptional customer experience. On a recent flight through Denver, I stopped by and got a great cut from store manager, Deb. I also bought a t-shirt designed by their justice-impacted, acclaimed artist in residence, Tuke DF Crew! If you are in Denver - go!
