Spot On! In this NYC nursery, playful polka-dot walls set the stage for a modern white crib and a cozy bouclé rocking chair paired with a channel-tufted ottoman, a bold green lamp and a color-blocked rug, all from @crateandkids . A rocking giraffe and bubble-blowing bunny artwork bring the charm, while keeping the vibe fresh and contemporary. There are two common mistakes people make when hanging art in their homes: 1. Hanging work that is too small for the space. Don’t be afraid to hang large artworks in smaller spaces such as hallways. 2. Hanging artworks too high, which makes pieces harder to “connect” with....and can make ceilings appear lower. The general rule is 60" on center above the floor.

If a guest at a theme park is planning to watch a parade, they'll often have to sit on a cold concrete floor to guarantee a good view... I designed a new mixed-use space for a personal project to help solve this problem! 💡 My design would enhance the guests' experience by providing unobstructed views on a newly elevated viewing platform. This new space would also allow for improved lighting and audio effects, further enhancing the parade. Thanks to its modular design, it can quickly adapt to meet the guests' ever-changing needs. Each level can push inwards, creating a flush wall. Using this mixed-use space as a food unit would help justify its construction and ensure the business can get a return on its investment. From my first-hand experience of working at multiple theme parks, I understand how important it is to be able to adapt on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This space would provide the needed flexibility. #Creative #3DArtist #Blender

Halloween is a few days away, and so is the completion of "Sinister Sweets!" If you haven't seen past posts, the plan is to complete the room on Halloween. That's why I'm extending this room's design as much as possible (IYKYK). Today's update features two additions. The first update consists of the addition of a water feature. I went with red lighting to simulate blood, and the red complements the black coffee cup. The second update was a last-minute swerve. As you can see from the color changes, I decided to go in a different direction. This update is the pivotal experience setter for "Skyward Adventure." The piece that sets the tone for this room is the walls. Adding a few balloons as part of the artwork gives the experience that visitors are taking a hot air balloon group trip. One other part of the update is theme expansion. Today's update includes a Steampunk-themed hot air balloon and a fairy light crystal ball-themed hot air balloon. I have a few more touches to add to this space, and we'll be off to a "Balloon Bonanza." The Rough & Fun Guide to Choosing Art That Belongs in a Space 🎨✨ Ever walked into a room, saw a piece of art, and thought: Yep, this just makes sense? That’s the magic of a well-placed artwork! But how do you make that happen in your own space? Here’s a no-nonsense, slightly cheeky guide: 🔥 1. The ‘Gut Feeling’ Test – If you look at it and instantly feel something (joy, intrigue, existential dread—whatever works), it’s a good sign. 🎭 2. Match the Vibe, Not the Couch – Art isn’t a throw pillow. If it speaks to the energy of the space, it belongs. If it just matches the curtains... try again. 🏠 3. The “Did It Grow Here?” Trick – Great art should feel like it was meant to be there all along, not like it just moved in and hasn’t unpacked. 🗣 4. Can It Start a Conversation? – If guests stop mid-sentence to ask, “What’s the story behind this piece?”, you nailed it. ⚖ 5. A Little Chaos is Good – Not everything needs to be symmetrical. A bold, unexpected piece can be the secret ingredient a space needs. 🎯 Final Tip: If you love it and it makes your space feel more you, it belongs. Period. What’s your go-to trick for choosing art that fits? Drop it below! ⬇️ #ArtThatBelongs #InteriorMagic #CuratedSpaces #DesignWithSoul #ArtCuration
