You are a confident person in real life, but why can't people see it when looking at your pictures? A couple of days after you have had a photoshoot, a photographer delivers the pictures to you, and you don’t recognize yourself. The lighting, the colors… everything looks nice, but that drive that your colleagues and friends admire about you is not there. Happened to you? First of all, it’s totally normal to feel a bit lost at the beginning of the photoshoot. Even the most bold, outgoing, and competent people can feel uncomfortable in an unfamiliar environment. And if it’s not a part of your professional activity, a photo studio with its wide empty space, numerous flashes, backgrounds, and softboxes is not something you are used to. How do I lead my clients from the “I don’t know what to do” feeling to the images where they radiate confidence? 🔶Conscientious preparation. I always know that I can rely on my equipment and the environment where I shoot. 🔶Practical tips and soft directions. Photographers have many instruments to empower the picture with the right angle, light, and body positioning. I share them with my clients and immediately show stunning results we come up with. 🔶Nice atmosphere at the shooting. I know that establishing trust needs some time. That is why during the shooting, I move with my clients from carefully staged pictures to the natural ones, made almost accidentally in the process of our conversation. Can you help me plan the photoshoot? Of course! There may be extra costs involved depending on how much help you need but I always want to make sure we get the most out of the time you've spent good money on. What does that look like? There are lots of ways I can help and it will depend on the type of shoot we're doing and what you need but a few key areas are: 1️⃣ Putting a shot list together. If you let me know what you're trying to achieve, I can let you know what's possible in the time we have and we can prioritise so that we get what we need within budget. 2️⃣ Sourcing props/backgrounds. I can help you source props and backdrops that suit specific styles of photography to make sure your shots are consistent and can be repeated if needed. 3️⃣ Finding models. If you need people in your shots you'll need to onboard some helpful friends OR hire professionals. I can help you find professionals who fit your brand and are within budget. A lot of people tell me they’re nervous about getting their photos done - you aren’t alone if you feel that way too!
