Innovation to us is not a big ‘wow’ or a ‘eureka’ moment. It is a function of the process we follow, where right from the time we get the brief to the decisions made at every stage of the project—whether it is concept, design development, detailing, execution—so, as long as the right questions are being asked at each stage, one can innovate. As Senior Team Lead Anusha Pulapaka explains, this approach helped us develop the upcoming visitor centre at the Mehrangarh Fort as a resilient, sustainable architectural system that is adaptable to future changes of programme, designed through a forward-looking approach to circularity. 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 Innovation to us is a way of being; it is a practice that we bring in to work everyday. We believe that bold visions are a result of a continuous and relentless pursuit of the elusive state of perfection. #StudioLotus #Innovation #Design #DesignLife #StudioCulture

Transforming Gov & Defence via Innovation at Scale and Speed 🚀 | Combining Human and Machine Intelligence 🤖 | Building Connected Collective Intelligence Programmes 🌐
🔊 Traditional doesn't mean regressive 🔊 "We are very traditional here" is something I hear often as a barrier to tech-driven innovation. As we see in The Talavera Project, you can drive forward innovation as a culture and mindset supported by advanced tools, without replacing tradition or erasing history. It's about looking to the future, without ignoring the past. When done right, innovation preserves legacy, it doesn't destroy it. What does The Talavera Project tell us about innovation? 🖊️ It works with tradition, not against it 🧠 A shift in mindset can enrich culture, strengthen identity, and create new opportunities 🔐 You can rethink regulations and security in a safe way 💭 Failure to embed innovation and share knowledge prevents growth, increases risk, and devalues workers ♻️ New approaches help to achieve circular sustainability and reduce cost Do you see any intersections between innovation and tradition at your own workplace? How can we see opportunities at these intersections, rather than barriers? #innovationatscale #cultureofinnovation #collectiveintelligence

A Little Late, but overjoyed! Late on Friday night, my team and I were honored with the prize for Outstanding Digital Submission at the Biodesign Challenge 2024, held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Seeing our project showcased on such a prestigious global platform was a humbling experience, reflecting the immense effort we poured into it over the past four months. Our project, titled "Mirage: Eco Solutions from Marble Remnants," explores innovative ways to utilize marble slurry—an industrial waste product—to create sustainable solutions for the local community, including thermal protection. This project's win is a testament to the collective hard work and dedication of so many individuals. First and foremost, I extend my deepest gratitude to our mentor, Mudita Pasari. Your guidance was invaluable, constantly pushing us to think creatively and improve continuously. This achievement would not have been possible without your support and insights. Special thanks to Vatsal Agrawal for your steadfast guidance throughout the project, and Souvik M., who was our voice and advocate, making our projects reach greater heights. The Design Village for providing a platform and community through which this was possible. Most importantly, I want to celebrate my incredible teammates; Raghav Modi Divyansh Jain and Prakriti. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and passionate team. The journey was filled with invaluable learning experiences, and I cherish every moment we spent working together. Here's to many more milestones and innovations ahead! 🌿 Sharing a glimpse of the moment: #BiodesignChallenge #Teamwork #Innovation #Sustainability #Collaboration #CommunityImpact #DreamDoing #MarbleSlurry #Kishangarh #EcoSolutions #GreenDesign #CircularEconomy #WasteToWealth #DesignInnovation #FutureOfDesign #CreativeSolutions #SustainableLiving #BioDesign #EnvironmentalImpact #LocalCommunity #ClimateAction #DesignForChange #InnovationInDesign #Mentorship #Gratitude

Gautam Tewari and Tithi Tewari, the co-founders of Trezi, embody the essence of a shared vision in entrepreneurship. Both architects by training, they identified common pain points in the design and construction industries through their extensive careers. Tithi’s architectural background and Gautam’s expertise in construction management provided a unique blend of skills that fueled their vision. Their journey began with a simple yet profound question: How can we bridge the communication gap in design projects? In this episode of India GameChanger, we delve into the innovative journey of Gautam and Tithi Tewari, co-founders of Trezi, an immersive platform revolutionizing design communication and collaboration in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Drawing from their extensive backgrounds in architecture and construction management, the Tewaris identified the persistent challenges of miscommunication and fragmentation in the design process. They created Trezi to bridge these gaps by enabling clients and stakeholders to experience designs in real-time, fostering better understanding, quicker decision-making, and reducing costly post-construction changes. Trezi democratizes design, giving clients more control and enhancing collaboration among all project participants. Look for the YouTube video link in the comments! It's a sprint, not a marathon ! This is true for a design practice. After twenty years of working in this field, I have come to believe that this is true for design evolution too. Good design evolves over time as a result of slow and thoughtful decision-making. Flashy new trends may grab our attention, but meaningful design innovation touches our hearts and shapes our lives. I’m happy to see that MGS Architecture has raised the question of what the future of design in India looks like.I firmly believe that sustainable practices will be at the forefront of this evolution, in line with rising global concerns over climate change.
