Marketers often find themselves in a state of creative flux, where ideas can strike at any moment. For some, the shower can be a catalyst for inspiration, as the warm water and relaxing atmosphere allow their minds to wander and make new connections. Others may find themselves getting their creative juices flowing during a morning jog or a post-workout run, as the rhythmic motion of their feet and the sound of their breathing create a sense of flow. Even watching a movie or scrolling through social media can spark an idea, as the juxtaposition of seemingly unrelated concepts and narratives can lead to unexpected insights. Recognizing that creativity is a natural byproduct of being in the world, marketers should be allowed to work in a hybrid system that blends both individual and social surroundings. By embracing the unpredictable nature of creative inspiration, marketers can tap into their full potential and bring innovative ideas to the forefront.

Every time I visit a new cafe or restaurant, I can't help but criticize their social media and marketing campaigns. It doesn't affect the taste of the food, but I just can't switch off my marketing brain. I often find myself thinking, "That's a great post," or "I would have posted this instead." Sometimes it's, "That's some good marketing," or "I wish they did better marketing." The marketing brain never switches off. #MarketingMindset #DigitalMarketing

But here's the thing: if you flip it 1,000 times, it evens out to 50-50. That extra 10% luck heads had? Gone. The moral of the story: "keep going long enough and take luck out of the equation" Good morning 🌤 Save the date: July 1st- that's when the next cheat sheet drops!
