I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THE INFANT DEMOCRATIC-CAPITALISTIC MINDS OF TODAY BLAME THE USA GOVERNMENT. THAT SAID THEN IS ANY GOVERNMENT TO BE BLAMED FOR THE HOMELESS PROBLEMS PLAGUING THE WORLD.?... NO. GOD KNOWS ALL THE HEADACHES USA GOVERNMENT HAVE WITH THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS. THE NEW WORLD IS PRACTICALLY A SHOCK TO WITNESS. PEOPLE "ONLY WORKING" TOGETHER FOR A COMMON GOAL... "IN THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." THUS DOESN'T THAT ALSO INCLUDE THE HOMELESS. THE HOMELESS ARE OUT THERE... ARE YOU.? HOMELESS A OPPORTUNITY MISUNDERSTOOD..... The modern economic system is a market economy, which is a capitalist economy where people, not the government--NOT THE GOVERNMENT--own most businesses. In a capitalist economy, prices allocate capital and labor between competing uses, and capital assets like factories, mines, and railroads can be privately owned and controlled. https://lnkd.in/eB98Jnv9 GOOGLE. As an Accounting Intern at any firm, you'll dive into the dynamic world of finance, gaining hands-on experience with real-world challenges. You'll work alongside seasoned professionals, learning the intricacies of financial reporting, auditing, and tax preparation. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your analytical skills, enhance your attention to detail, and contribute to impactful projects. Your insights will matter, and you'll leave with not just knowledge but valuable connections and a clearer path for your future in accounting. Your experiences can vary widely based on the company and role. Here are some common aspects I encountered; 💪Assisting with Audits: I helped prepare documents for internal or external audits, learning about compliance and regulatory requirements. 💪Data Entry and Reconciliation: Performed data entry tasks, reconcile accounts, and assist in month-end closing processes. 💪Learning about Financial Statements: Got involved in preparing and analyzing financial statements, which helps build a solid understanding of financial reporting. 💪Collaboration: Worked closely with accounting teams, learning about teamwork, communication, and project management within a corporate setting. 💪Professional Development: This provided opportunities for networking, attending training sessions, and receiving feedback from experienced professionals. 💪Real-world Challenges: Of course I encountered issues like discrepancies in financial records, requiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 💪Exposure to Different Areas: Gained insight into various accounting functions such as tax, payroll, or budgeting. Overall, an accounting internship is a valuable experience that helps bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. These and many more I had to experience at my time in BAYELSA STATE HOSPITAL'S MANAGEMENT BOARD, DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNT, YENAGOA. These experiences provided me with a solid foundation in accounting and has helped in developing my valuable skills. #thankyouBYHMB #experience #real #monday #happynewweek.

During my internship and now as an Accounts Officer, I have learned the following lessons: 𝐁𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Don’t just wait for tasks to land on your desk. Take initiative, look for things that need doing, and dive in. It shows you’re motivated and can handle responsibility. 𝐁𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬. Ambiguity is your enemy. Make sure you know exactly what’s expected of you and deliver just that. If something isn’t clear, ask questions to clarify. 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬. Don’t beat around the bush. Be straightforward in your emails and conversations. It saves time and avoids misunderstandings. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞. Respect is crucial, but fear isn’t. Stand your ground when needed and don’t let anyone intimidate you. 𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞. This one’s a bit cynical but true. People often dodge responsibility. Learn from this: own your mistakes, but also cover your bases and document everything. 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞. Confidence makes a huge difference. Speak up in meetings, share your ideas, and don’t be afraid to showcase your abilities. If you don't, you might get overlooked. 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭. If something’s wrong or you have a suggestion, voice it. Change doesn’t happen if everyone stays silent. Be the one to bring things up. 𝐀 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦-𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞. The right mentor can make a world of difference. Seek out managers who support and challenge you—they’ll help you advance in your career. These are just a few nuggets of wisdom I’ve gathered, and they’ve already made a big difference in how I navigate the corporate world. #corporate #office #accounting #finance #job #lessons #accounts #internship
