We are looking forward to next week’s EPCA Annual Meeting in Berlin. At the booth we are sharing with HELM AG, the Valenz and Proman teams will be showcasing methanol as a proven, scalable decarbonisation solution for the petrochemical industry. Decarbonising the sector is critical, and we can take action now by focusing on reducing Scope 3 emissions — the indirect emissions across the value chain. Methanol offers a versatile and more sustainable solution to this challenge. Because it can be produced from different feedstocks, including biogas as green methanol, it can significantly reduce the carbon intensity of petrochemical production compared to traditional inputs and help lower Scope 3 emissions across the supply chain. Existing lower-carbon methanol, when increasingly blended with green methanol as global volumes grow, will assist customers in meeting their sustainability goals and commitments, while also aligning with evolving compliance requirements for cleaner, lower-emission fuels and products. If you’re in Berlin next week, come and see us to discuss this further. #methanol #energytransition #Scope3Emissions Peter Harders Kirstin Kettler Fabian Lindner Mohamed Said Voula Kalaidis Heloisa Mendes Anita Gajadhar Matthias Classen Neil Anderson Lester Chong Leo Zhou Rodney Massing
