At STYLE, we pride ourselves on being a full-service agency capable of delivering comprehensive solutions for our clients. One recent project we’re particularly proud of is our collaboration with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) 🚗. The Challenge: ALDOT tasked us with bridging the gap between a trained workforce and available positions within their department. They needed a versatile recruiting campaign that could be seamlessly adapted across various platforms. Our Solution: We developed a dynamic recruiting piece designed for TV broadcast, radio, social media, and career fairs. Our strategy included: 📌 Flexible Design: A core spot that highlighted the diverse career opportunities at ALDOT and the benefits of working with this state agency. 📌 Targeted Messaging: An alternative segue in the middle of the spot allowed for cutaways specific to job openings, such as engineering positions, geologists, and material specialists. The Impact: Our campaign successfully increased connections with qualified candidates, showcasing ALDOT as an employer of choice in the state. Why Choose STYLE? This project is just one example of how we can tailor our services to meet your unique needs. From strategy development to execution across multiple media, we’re equipped to help you achieve your goals. Ready to elevate your brand and connect with the right audiences? Let’s talk about how we can create impactful campaigns for your organization.

Global Head Talent Acquisition Leader @ Archlynk | Certified Global Trainer, Talent Acquisition Expert
Prior to covid one of the top places to find talent and bring everyone together was at career fairs and or Hiring Events. I remember many times hosting events with hundreds of potential candidates who all came to one location to learn about a company or opportunities that existed; hiring managers and employees all meeting potential new employees at one place! How exciting it was! Is this still a relevant process or have meaning now with our ever changing world? Is Zoom or Video interviews the new norm? Well, I certainly would like to hear from you - what are your thoughts on hosting events to attract talent? Does it work still or is it a lost art form ......how do we measure success as such - is it based on hires made or is it from growing brand of an organization? What do you think?

How do you turn an interview into a two-way conversation? Candidate Lesson 2: Researching Employers According to a 2017 survey from Glassdoor, employers say good candidates are informed candidates. To be “informed” requires bringing questions, being knowledgeable of the role you are interviewing for, and understanding the organization’s culture. Here are some tips to help you prepare and become an informed candidate. Use the following tools and methods to gather your research and better position yourself. 1) Glassdoor and Indeed: review companies, culture, and hiring process. 2) Job Fairs: connect with hiring managers and staff. 3) LinkedIn: make connections, research the employer page, join groups and collect hiring manager profiles. 4) Company website and job posting: to review responsibilities, hiring requirements, “day in the life”, culture, purpose and vision. Several years ago, my daughter called to discuss a possible summer job opportunity in between her sophomore and junior year in college. She had attended a campus event held by the employer and was beginning to gather research before the interview process began. After the call, I texted her the company profile from Glassdoor. Madison built some questions and turned the interview into a two-way conversation. If you work in sales, look no further than Bluegreen Vacations to #igniteyourcareer! Founder & CEO at FACTEUR PR 🌿 We empower beauty, home, and wellness brands in the product and service space to garner more visibility, more trust, and more impact.
"This sounds like such a great company, are you hiring?" We recently had a call with a client who told us they were at an event – not a career fair, mind you – and people were coming up to them saying that they saw the brand in the media and wanted to work for them (which I love for them!). Media coverage, thought leadership opportunities, and even your social media presence can showcase your company as an industry leader and ultimately an appealing workplace, draws in individuals who are not only skilled but also share your vision and values. But positive PR doesn't just attract talent; it also helps retain it. Celebrating company achievements and promoting a collaborative culture can foster a sense of pride and loyalty among current employees. Engaged employees are more productive, which directly contributes to your bottom line. The expectation is often that PR -> Sales, but most times it's not so direct, like in this case PR -> Attracts & retains top talent -> Sales. You can't build a world-class brand overnight, but undoubtedly good PR is going to help you get there! :)
